Oh well, you obiviously didn't read the same book the rest of us did. Believe me, I'm team Edward all the way and your way sounds better, but Bella said she loved Jacob, that he was her soul mate, when she realized this she made her choice to let Jacob go.

She never states he's her soul mate.

Bella compares her situation to being spilt by lightening, she also comments on how she has two soul mates and wonders if her choice would have been different if she didn't know what it was like to lose Edward. She says how if things were different she would have been with Jake and this is the point she decides there never was a choice. It's in the chapter Ethics. It's what the book says, not me. Please don't be under the assumption you are the only one who loves the books.

Bella never really wonders what her choice would have been if Edward hadn't have left, she wonders if she would've ever wavered between them. I think not given if Edward hadn't have left Bella would never have grown close to Jacob in the first place. She says if the world was as it should be - meaning no vampires/wolves - she would've been with Jacob cos there would be no Edward but it was overpowered by something stronger, something so powerful and amazing it cannot exist in a rational world.

She loves Jacob but she doesn't say he's her soulmate. She comments about having two and says in a different world Jacob may have been hers but clearly not in this one. In BD it's mentioned a few times how Renesme is Jacobs soulmate and SM on her website talked about how Edward is the other half of Bellas soul. About loving them both, she did. But very, very differently and in different strengths. She loves Edward more, a heck of lot more she sacrificed everything to be with him.

If she's not refering to Jacob, who do you think she's refering to when she talks about her haveing 2 soulmates? Mike? Seriously, it's very cut and dry. It's not an intrepretation. It's in the book! I agree she loved Edwards more, it's impossible to ove two people in the exact same way, but the situation about the soulmates is clear. thanks for commenting btw :-)
