Another way that Tokyo Disney completely blows our american parks out of the water. I have to admit, both stories have their good points, and are themed to their setting though. I think Disney should most definately continue with the disney S.E.A. theme, as it looks like they are with the Mystic Manor at HKDL. Don't make all the S.E.A. guys look like jerks so much though. Cheesy Video, great story though.

Having ridden both versions, I have to say that the US version is slightly higher quality, but the Japanese version is by no means poor. I loved it. The only fault of its story is that no one really cares about the Shiriku idol; it was more or less a cop out plot device really. Other than that, I was very, very entertained by the whole thing. You kinda have to experience the hotel for yourself for full impact. There's stuff you pick up there that they're not telling you here.

It's actually a different ride (same falling thrill, though). The US one is more complex, in that they have to shift the elevator cars from the back to the front of the building ... they stay in the same place mostly for Japan's.
