This little house is charming. What are the outside dimensions, please? How did you design this, or did you buy plans? I'm looking to design a small house myself, but I've got a lot to learn, still. This is very inspiring!
The problem with most of these tiny homes is they are not complete. Its like a whimsical take on what a house should be. You can tell something is wrong but you cant put your finger on it until you think ah there it is. There is a reason for full size appliances,sinks,showers,ect... and the ability to relax in a simple way. Its hard to take them seriously. The skill of the designer has to go up if the space goes down. This movement to smaller dwelling, i think will see its hay day in the future.
@katherinegonzales82 This is from the website for 'little house on a trailer'; the designer has many others on that site. I believe this house is 12 feet wide by perhaps 16 long (?) Beautifully designed, just right amount of space for one or two people who are either quiet, or gone during the day at work.
I'm an asshole for taking care of them? Taking them to appts. doing all the shopping, and paying all the bills?? How or better yet why does this make me the person? Hm I guess jealousy travels in many forms. I want to get out of an RV and have a home and that's wrong? As is all my stuff is in storage or I'd be in their with them but a one bedroom isn't quite large enough. 2 acres is pretty big, why can't I have my own place? Wtf? Idiots
@00starlitebrite00 Star....man dont even take to heart what these bottom level intelectuals have to say.Your thinking ahead and your grandparents arent going to live into the future your thinking about.SOme people are so narrow minded and cant be listened to.You have the right idea....just keep moving ahead and maybe dont let out too much info as you see what knot heads do with it.
Wow I guess you all read way more into what I said then needed to. I have moved here per their request first off, second I love them dearly or I wouldn't of volunteered to live here and help them out. They have a very large property that people have tried to buy off them for years! I will never let that happen, they are in their 90's and they know that their mobile home is a POS but they also say they are to old to buy a new one. Wtf is your problem? I'm an asshole for moving on their property
It's exactly what I'm looking for. My grandparents live in a fugly old 70's single wide mobile home and I will inherit this land, but I'm currently living in a tent trailer right now until I find something just like this to put on the other side if the property. When they do pass I plan on scrapping their crappy trailer and eventually building a nice home and the little house can be for guests!! I want to know how to make this! I love it

@katherinegonzales82 from the looks of it. those two small rooms off the living area. one was the bathroom. the other was the kitchen.
