the 450 is built, put that against a 700 with only pipe and filte.. i think that was a pretty close race to be getting all butt hurt about.. i know if that was my 700 i'd be in front of that 450.. but then i have some mods done.. i think the 700 did good against whats done to it and the 450 is pretty quick

Black Honda 450r on the left, white 700 raptor on the right. Honda beats the 700 up the hill. Both are 91 octane pump-gas bikes, the Honda has porting and a Hotcam.

I prefer yamahas, but from everything I've heard about the 450r, they whoop ass in sand. and as far as the whole 450 vs. 700 thing goes, I don't know about the 450r, but I know the yfz450 has an 11.4-1 comp. ratio, while the 700 only has 9.2-1. change the piston in the 700, and it will eat damn near anything alive.
