@GadgetsNGear Ya they are a pain I changed mine last week before putting the tranny back on the car. I put a hell ton of grease onto it so it will not run out of lubrication. I think for a quick fix you just open the clutch cable dust cover on the side of the transmission and spray grease or WD-40 on it. That should lubricate the BBs inside the bearing and probably last 2-3 months of noise free driving? The one I pulled out from this tranny was super dry.
@valflyinf yeah the last one i pulled was bone dry, felt like it had sand inside. I'd be pretty freaking nervous spraying wd40 that close to the friction material, can you say slippage?
hey i watched this whole video 1-3 and changed my spark plugs today. some stuff i didnt do cuz i have an 01 bullitt and my engine is a bit different but thanx to this vid, it saved me a couple hundred bucks doing it myself. my car runs a hell of a lot better now. thanx alot for alot of tips. fyi, i saw part 3 vid and kinda turned my stomache when you revved the engine really high on a cold start lol. but i hope everything is kool and thank you again.
@qreqorious Oh ya everything is cool. Car has a lot of power. Runs perfect. Did 18.9 MPG the other day city/highway with only 4-5 good accelerations above 2000 rpm while on the same gas tank. I did had to change the gas tank grommet a couple months back though cause they crack after a while(happned at 75000 miles. $30 part. That will give you an ennoying check engine light and sometimes a gas smell coming from the tank. Filling it up to the top will make it leak a little. Gonna do a tranny video
@valflyinf thanx man cuz my 01 yes a v6 lol but it does the same everytime i fill past a quarter it smell slike gas and didnt know why. but now that i randomly found ur vid and sw ur comment now i know why thanx man even though it was random lol. and where is the gromet located.?
I think it is called "dumped". The whole exhaust is removed after the H-pipe, in the middle of the exhaust system, so no mufflers. But I have just recently put on some silent mufflers on the GT and I think it sounds sick! I just had enough of 6 months of super loud so I put those on. Now car sounds like a police car at full throttle. Very qiet, very sneaky, very "engineered" hehe... With the turbo I am planning to get, it will be a sleeper extreme.
I really hope that when I do this, my plug doesn't blow out. I keep hearing all these people bitch about a plug blowing out. WTF are they doing wrong? I just sank $1000+ into this bitch, can't afford another hit like that for a while.
@xilix I do not think they would blow out, unless you removed them, dropped some nitroglycerin in the piston and put them back, then did something weird. But then again your whole house would blow up.
Na just make sure the engine is cold, as in not driven for like a couple hours. Its IMPORTANT, cause then the threads can get damaged if it is not cold. People over-exagerate due to lack of knowledge and use fancy words...lol
why would you cut off the fuel? this makes no sense! you don't do that, and you do not unplug the injectors! u are doing this all ass backwards! i dont do nothing but remove cold air intake, and the coil packs! thats it!
Gosh!!! Sorry to hear that.. I read the Haynes manual before I started(plus it was my second spark plug change on this type of car) and I follow it to the letter. Usually I wait untill the engine is literally cold. I also stress the fact that one needs to thread the plugs BY HAND, very causiously before putting a tool to it. The rachet is connected to the socket only for the final tightening. If you do not have a Torque Wrench then thread the plug untill it is a little tight then rotate the--
Well I ran for a little bit so that the fuel pressure decreases to almost 0 psi. Then I waited 30 minutes before starting the spark plugs change. Don't worry.
@travbedaman LOL I would say you could screw up more by removing the fuel rails! Plus it saves time by not taking them off. The COP boots WILL bend out of the hole just fine so to those watching this like I once did Im going to say it point blank YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMOVE THE FUEL RAILS NOR TOUCH ANY OF PART OF THE FUEL SYSTEM.
Im not meaning to sound like an ass to those that say you need to, If you want to go ahead and do it, its just not needed.
why are you unplugging the fuel cut out switch to change plugs? you don't need to remove the fuel rail to get the coils out.you better stop and let someone who knows what they are doing before you hurt your self or the car.
lol. I don't know what the hell but everything in this vid was hilarious for some reason. What the hell was up with that dude on the motorcycle? Sounded like sh*t lol. You guys rock! Thanks for the vid!
someone please shoot the jackass on the atv or motorcycle that keeps driving by while you are shooting the video... lol

is the inertia switch, allowing gravity to take place, and allow the fuel to drop from the tank, and then to the pump.

I have read a couple how to articles and ALL said to disconnect the fuel line and the fuel rails, so pretty sure he's doing it the recommend way.
