Was not aware that Stanford is also a religious school and has its own church, with catholic and jewish services.

but , all ivy schools were originally Christian and have their own seminary and Divinity schools.

so, I suppose Christian scholars are not the closed minded folks I hear about, since they founded all the best colleges.

@15iiii It's not ''overpriced'' as you put it. Stanford offers a very generous financial aid rule that states. Anyone's parents who make less then 100,000 a year at work gets there tuition FREE. All they have to pay for is there books and other needs. But if ur parents make less then 60,000 a year they get books FREE and tuition FREE. I would know considering my aunt went there since her parents were poor :|

refers to freshman, meaning the 4 years they will be at Standford till they graduate.

Example: Those students that came in, are freshman. When those freshman came in, the year was 2010. By, the time it is 2014, those freshman will become seniors, and carry on. So Class of 2014 refers to the class of freshman that joined during 2010. Freshman that join next year, will be known as class of 2015.

Why go to Stanford when you can watch their lectures on Youtube, follow coursework online, ask questions and get answers from professionals on Yahoo!, and get real work experience from freelance sites? All at little to no cost.

You get as much out of education as you put in, and it does not matter where you go to get it. Or maybe that's just what I like to tell myself because because I wish I could go to a school like that. ;)
