@cwjalexx Yes, one of them did forget to sing, go your own way, it was a classic, and they were both graceful in the way they handled it. They were awesome together and moments like that where they forget makes them real and makes you appreciate them more. One of Carrie's strongest talents is staying grounded. She is just beautiful. This was JUST BRILLIANT!
I love the sound of Carrie & Cook together. Their voices complement each other. I just wish the Van Halen duet that they taped at her special would be allowed to be heard. People who were at the taping said they were fantastic together on it.
Of course, being such good friends, they had a lot of fun with this song.
I'm glad that Cook was the one "idol" friend that was invited to her wedding, so maybe future collaborations will be popping up. ;)

They both have wonderful singing talent, and this is a decent cover, but this song sounds so much better when the musicians performing it experienced the sentiments of the song with EACH OTHER, no less.

They're two of my most favorite singers, and having them sing together... FANTASTIC!
I wish they'd do more songs together, their voices blend so well. Of course, that's a sign of a professional. ;)

I love the sound of Carrie & Cook together. Their voices complement each other. I just wish the Van Halen duet that they taped at her special would be allowed to be heard. People who were at the taping said they were fantastic together on it.
Of course, being such good friends, they had a lot of fun with this song.
I'm glad that Cook was the one "idol" friend that was invited to her wedding, so maybe future collaborations will be popping up. ;)

@cimco I am a Carrie fan, it just seems in poor taste to bring in others on a Carrie/Cook vid. I don't see the need to compare either of them to other artists, other than to the original.

@33aifan when voicing an opinion most likely your comparing one thing to another. i happen to like fleetwood mac as well and this song demands power in the lyrics when you sing it. as i listened to this i naturally -being a fan of daughtry-thought he would have powered the lyrics much better than cook did. so i "voiced" it. not poor taste -opinion. thats all. i could take offense to you using that term since you insulted me twice. but i wont'. i'll educate you instead. its youtube!! :)

@cimco It was obvious you were a Daughtry fan, why else bring his name into a discussion of another artist's performance. IMO, it's just more of the Idol mentality of competition. I thought Daughtry's fans had moved beyond that, but I guess not. I don't feel the need to go to Daughtry's vids and compare him to other artists, j/s.

@33aifan you sound bitter-i was voicing an opinion being a fan of both daughtry and underwood. you seem to have a sore spot for anyone critizing cook. its understandable. but really idol didn't figure into this at all. daughtry and underwood both have come along way since idol. they have made thier mark in the music industry. if your not a fan of daughtry then why would you go to one of his vids?? i said i was looking for underwood. not cook. relax 33aifa. no need for griping!!!:)

@33aifan actually i was "trolling" -not really but if that term makes you happy-carrie underwood not cook. and yea-daughtry fan-underwood fan. they are power houses. cook has a nice voice but just no charisma or anything to draw you in. imo. chris did a duet with kelly clarkson and they took a song i hated-which was a song by tracy chapman and made it a epic song. because they are power houses. this was bleh-because cook didn't bring it. imo.

They both have wonderful singing talent, and this is a decent cover, but this song sounds so much better when the musicians performing it experienced the sentiments of the song with EACH OTHER, no less.

Carrie had several platinum singles & several multi-platinum albums.
They're very good friends, both used to singing before a 25million (plus) TV audience.
Why would anyone think he'd be nervous singing for a small studio crowd? Think about it. Sounds like the power of suggestion to me. ;)
I still wish we could hear the Van Halen duet. Maybe some day soon.
