I agree with this video but you're forgetting a important thing, Cobain sold out. He hated grunge and in an interview stated that the only reason he composed in the genre was because it was an easy and safe thing to do and because it was popular. Also since you like metal you should check out Grohls solo project Probot, it's actually good, far better than Nirvana and Foo Fighters anyway.

They headlined major festivals e.g. Reading and were supposed to headline Lollapalooza (the biggest festival in the world). Most of Nirvana songs are actually closer to pop that any rock subgenre. Or just their music influenced lots of today's shitty bands. I listen to Metallica but mostly 1983-1991 era and the 'Death Magnetic' album. Got to say Smells Like Teen Spirit (although lyrics make no sense at all, tried to focus and find hidden meanings, didn't work) is the only song from Nirvana I can somehow listen to. The rest isn't worth your time and ears.

Who told you Cobain hated metal? And what if I like Nirvana and Metal music? If he hated it (which I doubt, when nirvana started was a heavy metal band, in fact that's what every radio station said about their demos) it doesn't matter to me. Nirvana is a band which makes me enjoy the sound. The lyrics, yeah, they tend to not make sense, but I still like some songs, although they had some jokes on 'em, like I Hate Myself and I Want to Die, he said was joking. Most of Nirvana songs are actually closer to pop that any rock subgenre. Or just their music influenced lots of today's shitty bands. I listen to Metallica but mostly 1983-1991 era and the 'Death Magnetic' album. Got to say Smells Like Teen Spirit (although lyrics make no sense at all, tried to focus and find hidden meanings, didn't work) is the only song from Nirvana I can somehow listen to. The rest isn't worth your time and ears.

Nirvana is the wort band of all time because they knowingly plagiarized others, had no talent, were pathetically uncreative, didn't care about a damn thing, never tried their best - to be the best they could possibly be, they sold out and went commercial, they were completely unoriginal, and in fact had nothing but utter contempt for music. They were emotionless and without feeling. Try it sometime, recognize when you are "bored" with something and then see just how much emotion you have.

There's absolutely no question whatsoever that Nirvana is the absolute most snot meat virgin brew beef barf rotten lard worst band of all time. There's no one, not one person that can debate this for all the reasons listed in this video only its much worse. Nirvana had no passion. How can you have passion if you are constantly "bored" with what you do as Kurt has freely admitted several times? No one has been able to pass the passion issue and neither can anyone reading this. .

dude nirvana is and will be the best Grunge bands ever existed.
It isn't that he performs hes songs but the way he makes them that it is magic. He was a mastermind and made lot's of fans and admires for that. Kurt Cobain liked metal. He just didn't like the kind of shitty metal you're into, like the abortion of a song you used in this video. He liked Sabbath, Zeppelin, and other ACTUAL metal bands. He wasn't a guitar virtuoso or anything because he wanted to get away from hair metal's obnoxious precision. His lyrics were too deep for a dumbass like you to understand, but they weren't emo. I always felt like on Bleach, music came first and lyrics came second, on Nevermind, music and lyrics were equally important, and on In Utero, lyrics came first and music came second. In Utero is my favorite.

The reason why nirvana was good was not because the guitar but for the melody of all of their songs, They are the greatest band of making such a melodic song! Kurt cobain was a mastermind of knowing how to make such a good melody, and he changed the world from being such a different band from anyone else. I understand how you like more skill to instruments than the melody of the song. It isnt appropriate to hate on nirvana for calling them not good at music! (NIRVANA PRIMUS AND RUSH FOREVER)
