  • iv jst gt a onza comp 50£ with a back brake bt no front break i have tryed pedal kicks bt i jst fall off wt should i doo gt a new front brake

  • @dannypollard12 you actually don't need front brake for pedal kicking, but to make sure you have everything to learn all the trials moves I would advise you to get a front brake aswell!

  • hey guys i have got fed up of just trying back wheel hops every day so i thought... how could i do a drop without doing hops... and i can up with this-i pull the front wheel in the air with the back break on and then i let the break go and start pedalling so im doing a wheelie and then i just cycle of the object and land on the back wheel with the break on... good way or not?

  • @tmagtrials yep you can do that, it's really good to see that u can think outside the box! we are not limited to these moves, you can use and do anything you like as long as you reach ur goal!

  • ty... have you got any tips for balance... cos i can pedal form like 1-3 metres then fall off...

  • never ever give up;) thats my tip, just try some new stuff something different cause then you wont get tired of hopping around all day! good luck m8

  • thanks and just a question who r u... ur not ryan leach?

  • nono certainly not, I'm just another trialer u can see my own vids on my accound (ARM vids are mine) there are also some meetings and a few vids of my friends;) and well I uploaded these vids to try and help people to get better at trials... so good luck m8

  • do you know whether there are like any clubs or meeting for begginer trialers to help me get better?

  • nope sorry dude, I asume you live in england? since it is on ur utube profile:P and I live in Holland so I can't really help you... try looking for forums and in that way meet up with people so you can learn new things! and just keep on riding

  • thanks... (sorry for all the comment but ur reely helpful) i read this thing today about how practice can make perfect but it can make permanent... what i mean by that is that if i learn how to do a skill wrong and then a trialer says nono do it this way... my muscles will stop me from doing it and make me the way i lernt it... muscle memory.... do you think that makes sense or its just a load of shite?

  • makes perfect sense! in fact there are a lot of people who do a sidehop the wrong way, but they have got used to it over time. I think that there are no rules to trials the if the way you do something works than continue doing it! besides once in a while you have to re-learn a technique because you feel that it is better to do it another way, this is hard but if you try hard you will get better at it!

ps I made this account to help ppl so helping you is my job;) haha but I dont get paid:(

  • hi mate,

i was just on my bike and i can now do one rear wheel hop... after ive pulled the wheel in the air i can hop once but then when i land i cant stop the front wheel fromdropping down... and i can't work out how to stay on the back wheel and hop again... do you know what im doing wrong????

  • when your rear wheel start dropping, give your pedals a light punch after releasing the rear brake. after the small punch hold the brake again. also it is a matter of balance, when you do it more often you will se that the wheel wont drop a lot or wont drop at all. what you want to reach is a point in which you are in perfect balance, so you dont need to punch your pedals but instead do a small hop with your body, forward backwards or whatever side you ned to hop to;) give it a try and lemi know

  • thanks for the tip... but i tried it and i can't let go of the brake and then pedal kick and then pull the brake again in the time that im in the air... as i can only hop about 2-3inches

  • cheers again

  • last question...do you need disc brake cause i cant keep my front wheel in the air anymore.i think my bike is to heavy

  • nope you can use any brake as long as it works;) it's really a matter of finding the balance point, when done correctly at a time it will e effortless for u!

  • i watched this to c how u explained it i could already hop brilliant explanation

  • i cant keep my front wheel in the air...please help

  • it's a matter of balance, real delicate in the beginning but the more you do it the iesier it gets, I would advice you to use a bench or summin to put your front wheel on and then keep hopping, once your in balance put your weight a little bit more to the back try doing that a few times and then just put your wheel on the bench again, I hope I helped and remember youre the only one who can teach try trial to yourself, others can only give tips;) so just keep trying!!!

  • see when he says its the presomething

of the pedal kick does he mean i should learn this before the pedal kick

  • a can do it the first way but i can't do it without a wall anytips??

  • keep trying;) really thats the only helpfull tip, perhaps you should try leaning more backwards

  • do ya need a back break

  • yes you do else you might fakk backwards + its real hard not to use your brake and still hop, I cant do it:P

  • hey i dont need breaks right? Because i messed up my back breaks

  • sorry but you do

  • wow this helps so much

    THANKS

  • Hey again! Thanks alot for the advice.

i got some more hops but i keep fallin to the side or back, but i guess i just need to practice over and over again to get the balance, which will take some time(if i guess).

If you have any other tips, please feel free to tell me :)

  • yea it's like walking, you can get the right balance only if you practice alot, I cant really think of something you could improve if you have a cam just mail the vid to me and then I could probably help you more;)

  • Hey dude, i just started Trial biking yesterday ;o

and i can do like 4 back wheel hops now.

But im finding it very hard to learn, my front wheel always fall down....

Do you have any tip of what to do ? :)

  • ok great man, nice hearing from you, now you can always release your brake and give your pedal a small kick when your frontwheel drops down, this makes sure it goes up again... in time you wont even have to do this cause your balance will get better;)

  • Helllo man, this is a very helpful video but i have a question/problem that i hope you will be able to help me with:

I am 12 years old i weigh 7 stone an d im 5.2 ft tall, my mountain bike has recently broke and i would like to buy a new one which is light and suitable to my age also i only have around £170 im english so what type of bike should i get or way should i get it?

  • Sorry i meant where should i get it at the end of the first paragraph

  • seems im the only bloody person commentin:P

    thx

  • hey m8, well u want normal v brakes or hydraulic systems? I haven't bought a bike as a whole so I don't know whether it's cheaper to buy everything apart or just an entire bike, also I don't know how good u are with putting together bikes:P but Im gonna look at some bikes for ya and send u a pm on it;)

  • yo dude.. im back!

    lol

local bike shop gave me a deal for £70 a nice lil 20" trial bike and i love it... stuck some mugura sticky fingers onto it and been out on it since i managed to get my hands on the bugger...

  • "GREAT:D now the harder part starts;) getting everything right and pushin it;)

but earlier today my trial bike was stolen and house insurance wont cough up cos they said it was my fault or summing! (left it in back garden to put my phone on charge, was gone less than 5 mins >:( )

do you know anywhere that are offering discounts on there trial bikes atm?

i realy dont have much money so it needs to be cheap

    thx mate

  • oohhhh dude u gotta be kidding me, I have no idea how that feels but I know its probably the worst feeling a human can have, to come back and go WTF my bike was here and then running around looking for the bastard:(

dyou live in England? I dunno what sites I should advise u eitherwayXD btw tell the seller about ur stolen bike, nobody knows, maybe their good ppl and sell it cheaper orso:)

eitherway I hope the person who stole ur bike burns in hell eternally:@XD no I really hope so^^ the idiot:(

  • hey dude... im a relatively new trial bike rider, but i have been riding dirt jumping bikes for several years so i am used to jumping and everything...

but with these i am lucky to get to 2 hops then the front just falls down... i dont seem to have time to adjust myself before it all goes wrong either

any tips by any1 would be realy helpfull thanks x

  • yo, well thats a problem we all face/faced what you should try to do is in first place lean backwards more, so when your front well is slowly dropping, also lower your body to compensate for that, what should happen is that now you can lower your body a bit more and you will feel like falling backwards but if u rise again you will see that ur in perfect balance, I will add another comment because I already used my 500 signs lol:P

I will add a video responce to this vid with the second option...

  • tnx a lot

  • nice bunny hopping dude

  • ? where:P?
