Mind you, I have always reasoned with Science and logic and that is why it took me so long to believe. Though I am a nurse today and work in the Emergency Room and I have quite an understanding of the disease and body...I know i was healed through the Shaman practice. So as you can see, your argument to shaman believers are quite futile. It is as if a Shaman believer trying to convince a Christian whom has accepted God into them to convert. I believe we all should be allowed to have our own beliefs. I was born in the US and for 17 years, did not believe in the Shaman practive until I fell ill and was healed through a Shaman ritual.

@samuellis Actually not all shaman do the same thing; its because it all depends on their "qhua neeb" or their spirit helpers. If the spirit helpers want it done a certain way you will have to do it their way and or if any spirit you're encountering wants a certain way it will be that way unless you negotiate. It's complicated to explain, you actually have to ask the shaman his or herself why they do the things they do.

I say NP bro, im glad to help you man anytime dude. his family believe that we shaman healers are real. They say even god didn’t even helped them and they told us that they read the bible and pray every night, it didn’t work. Our shaman ways open up there mind, and they converted back to being shaman again.

Of course not, so I believe it works, my best friend and closest friends are all Shamans. I believe healing can happen to anyone, good or bad people. @samuellis So they decide to get a Hmong shaman to heal his spirit body at his home, so we killed 3 pigs, one for him, one for his mom, one for his dad. We gut the knife into the pigs throat and use a bowl to contain the blood and then put blood mark on the parents and son with X’s. The healing practice took about 2 hrs jumping on the horse seat and chanting, chanting until he stop jumping, and take the white string lines off from 3 of them connecting to the pig.
@samuellis so i ask his family that, your son might need a hmong shaman healing practice. they say no, they dont need one. we will just pray and believe in god, and he will help us. i told them ok, but if you do, you know where to find me or just call me on my cell phone ok. they say ok. two weeks later my friend got very ill and start to get all these rashes on his body and neck and get demon sat on alot every night.
@samuellis so for that, you get sat on everyday by a demon while your sleeping at night. you get sacred and start to read the bible for hrs and then finaly go to sleep. this what happen to my friend when his family is christian. he gets sat on everynight everyday when he goes to sleep. he always tell me his bed night story and i tell him sorry my friend i cant help you. but all you need to do is to pray and pray and believe in your religion. but god never make it go away.

But the younger generation dose not know about it anymore. If you want to know more talk to a old shaman that is pure and of old decent, only they will know about this and will go into detail. They might even go into how we hmong got our last name.

Mind you, I have always reasoned with Science and logic and that is why it took me so long to believe. Though I am a nurse today and work in the Emergency Room and I have quite an understanding of the disease and body...I know i was healed through the Shaman practice. So as you can see, your argument to shaman believers are quite futile. It is as if a Shaman believer trying to convince a Christian whom has accepted God into them to convert. I believe it is Christian's way to spread his teaching.

@ Samuellis. Though it appears I may be late in joinging the debate. I wanted to put in my thoughts as well. I think its quite silly this debate of Christianity and Shamanism. I believe we all should be allowed to have our own beliefs. I was born in the US and for 17 years, did not believe in the Shaman practive until I fell ill and was healed through a Shaman ritual.

@samuellis Actually not all shaman do the same thing; its because it all depends on their "qhua neeb" or their spirit helpers. If the spirit helpers want it done a certain way you will have to do it their way and or if any spirit you're encountering wants a certain way it will be that way unless you negotiate. It's complicated to explain, you actually have to ask the shaman his or herself why they do the things they do.

I say NP bro, im glad to help you man anytime dude. his family believe that we shaman healers are real. They say even god didn’t even helped them and they told us that they read the bible and pray every night, it didn’t work. Our shaman ways open up there mind, and they converted back to being shaman again.

The question is raised when what happen to make it work? Who made the healing process work? Where does that power come from? Reasonably & logically Shamanism doesn't stand up to hard scurinty... I love my Hmong people and I am proud to be Hmong, we use to be Shamans, but even if we were I would still grow up to get out of it becuz intellectually it doesnt make sense. I follow reasonable faith not blind faith made of superstition like Shamanism. But still again I love and respect all my people.

Also if you can see God then that would force you to love him thus negating free will that he has given to us. Sigh, so unreasonable and knowledgable. @samuellis we got no country cause we fought, fought until the day we got our ass kick out of country in china the Yan dynasty in Chiyou era the hmong king. we fought countless battles with the yellow emperor. then we lost the 10th battle which make us migrate alot then to thailand then USA. plus i dont ned a country i make my own history. what i do for a living is ruthless, i fight for money in Mix martial arts, i own my gym in united states. i train will known MMA fighter like cain valaques.

@MMAProEliteXC Wrong we didnt migrate to only Thailand. There was 3 sons of the king 1 died, 1 went north and the other one went south. We are the decendents of the ones who went south to lower china. Then we migrated to laos, vietnam, cambodia, thailand, burma. You make ur own history in a sense is right, everyday is history the only thing is no one knows ur history only urself. All you said is good but nothing to prove ur points for shamanism...

@samuellis and my uncle say ok i will. so idk the rest because thats all he told me. the rest he didnt want to tell me anymore because it was confidential. he say i cant tell alot of details only a person that is shaman chosen one will only get to know in life time. only one of your family will be chosen by faith. only one he say. they say there will always only be one shaman in your family. cant be two or three or four in your family. just one in life time. just like famous people. only one.

@samuellis So they decide to get a Hmong shaman to heal his spirit body at his home, so we killed 3 pigs, one for him, one for his mom, one for his dad. We gut the knife into the pigs throat and use a bowl to contain the blood and then put blood mark on the parents and son with X’s. The healing practice took about 2 hrs jumping on the horse seat and chanting, chanting until he stop jumping, and take the white string lines off from 3 of them connecting to the pig.

@samuellis so i ask his family that, your son might need a hmong shaman healing practice. they say no, they dont need one. we will just pray and believe in god, and he will help us. i told them ok, but if you do, you know where to find me or just call me on my cell phone ok. they say ok. two weeks later my friend got very ill and start to get all these rashes on his body and neck and get demon sat on alot every night.

@samuellis so for that, you get sat on everyday by a demon while your sleeping at night. you get sacred and start to read the bible for hrs and then finaly go to sleep. this what happen to my friend when his family is christian. he gets sat on everynight everyday when he goes to sleep. he always tell me his bed night story and i tell him sorry my friend i cant help you. but all you need to do is to pray and pray and believe in your religion. but god never make it go away.

@samuellis You are clearly brain wash my friend. Dont try to change our faith. shaman is my religion and i am freaking proud being a Hmong shaman religion. Remember that your family use to be shaman and was so afraid that one day. a death god will appear to one of the chosen one in your family dreams to become a shaman healer. so your family convert to christian to change there faith. but remember that the spirits will always come and hunt hmong chirstian in there dreams.

@MMAProEliteXC The question is raised when what happen to make it work? Who made the healing process work? Where does that power come from? Reasonably & logically Shamanism doesn't stand up to hard scurinty... I love my Hmong people and I am proud to be Hmong, we use to be Shamans, but even if we were I would still grow up to get out of it becuz intellectually it doesnt make sense. I follow reasonable faith not blind faith made of superstition like Shamanism, but still again I love and respect.

sometimes this can go on for hours depending on what they are doing it for. my cousin's mom did it for almost 8 hours straight just constantly jumping and fighting the spirit? i was there lol..but damn was she tired aha.

I'm a Hmong Christian but I love to just study my own culture too... I don't know to much but I do feel as if the "ua neeb" ritual has changed over time and its evolving, in this case I'm sure this txiv neeb knows what he is doing and I know there is some sort of Supernatural power behind it but where is that power coming from?

@samuellis the supernatural power comes for SHEYEE, not many know about this but I bet you might have watch the movies already. (The Peacock Princess, an Journey to the West are all about SHEYEE.) But the younger generation dose not know about it anymore. If you want to know more talk to a old shaman that is pure and of old decent, only they will know about this and will go into detail. They might even go into how we hmong got our last name.

@samuellis Sheyee is the Hmong version of Jesus. He was sent from God or Lub Ntuj to help cure the world of illness. B4 he left he has defeated most of the big shot Dab on earth. The reason he left was the Hmong people's fault. He went back to help heaven and only as us to do one thing but we as a races fail him. When he came back and saw that we did not do what he asked of us, he went back. He will not come again since we as a people did not changed for the better but seem to 4get our own root

@nxh36 well i guess u can say tat the story is sort of the same, but u really cant compare, sheyee came to help cure the world of illness but jesus came down to die for sinners, big difference... if u say tat it was the hmong people fault for sheyee going back then u cant say he came to help the people of the world becuz wat about all the other races... jesus had a sole purpose, u said sheyee came back and saw how we fail him so he left us a second time, jesus didnt come a second time, not yet..

@samuellis when the time is right u will know. the process have started. people have alway get their informations wrong. he did not die for our sins or for the sinners. it was a man or people who killed him. i'm not saying that one is better than the other, I'm just saying that when god game u a mission u do it to the best of your ability.
