Except: Guitar and piano are not quite in tune.

The guitar overpowers the piano by far.

The sound of the guitar could well be improved, but since you are using a marshall valvestate there is, I suppose, not much you can do about it.

Try using a Korg A3 or so and some crisp ditortion (e.g. ENGL preamp), then you would really get something out of this.
