  • What a douche lol.

  • It was just a nice way of telling you "you are not worthy of being on our show. Please, fuck off"

  • Man, that T-shirt...for God's sake...really. Is it so important to you to wear a T-shirt with the letters of a prison on it?

  • Comedian for a Think Tank? You realize that means you're an utter fucking failure, right?

  • it said "we never book conservative pundits", it goes on to say "we stick with conservative..." at which point you cut the text off. its also continues that theyre happy to book conservative "high profile news anchors" and "religious leaders". the thing is liberal pundits are educated, entertaining and tell the truth, where as you are a conservative pundit, a dimwitted, anti-american bore who skews the truth and tries to pass it off as a sensationalised shocking scandal. youre a nobody too.

  • @mintyvision

Exactly right. It's funny that Mr. Crowder didn't think he was being deceptive by cutting off the rest of the text, which clearly indicated there were conservatives outside of pundits allowed on the show. Maybe if he wasn't such a biased douche, he would see Hollywood and the "liberal media" having nothing on Fox News conservatives when it comes to being biased.

  • @mintyvision So its okay not to let on a funny conservative as long as you let one on that`s boring as a turd? I`m just taking an objective look at your logic as a libertarian I tend to do that because liberals are cut very short in that area. Please keep your face off the keyboard when you send me hate mail in retaliation.Thank you.

  • Crowder, Jon Stewart is a comedian, just like you, trying to entertain an audience. He's got a point of view and he will come right out and say he's not pretending to be unbiased. The only difference is that you are conservative and he's liberal.

Oh, wait, maybe there's one more difference: he's funny and you're a talentless hack.

  • Four years are up. Still ready to have that conversation?

  • The irony is the only person mad here is @StevenCrowder

  • Everyone the internet may be shut down on March 8th make sure to like this so everyone can see!

  • Jon Stewart has booked a number of conservative guests.

It was a polite way of telling you that you are talentless & not nearly to the level of a booking on The Daily Show.

It is nothing more than a HILARIOUS flight of narcissistic fantasy that you would even begin to think that your youtube videos could make you a guest on The Daily Show.

Keep working, maybe you will get to the level of Rebecca Black one day!

Just keep reaching for those stars, big-shooter!

  • BILL FUCKING ORIELLY HAS BEEN ON THE DAILY SHOW MORE THAN ONCE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME

  • Uhh....I've seen many conservative pundits on the Daily Show....

  • Stewart is on his knees sucking Obamas cock and his audience finds it funny.. but the Right finds it quite funny as well.. hilarious! keep up the hard work Stewart.. (you probably want to invest in some knee pads though)

  • @xGoliathOnlinex

very funny, you could be a conservative comedian too!

  • @xGoliathOnlinex Totally strait comment, not the kind of statement that someone who thinks about gay sex A LOT would say at all.

  • Oh Steven, maybe he just thinks you’re not funny.

And whining about it doesn’t help you one bit

  • Just because the Daily show won't book shitty Conservatives who aren't funny, who have only 50,000+ subscribers, dosn't mean he is anything like Fox News. And that's what a lot of your videos boil down to. Now that a Democrat is in power you feel like you need to balance the system. Calm down buddy.

  • @nrdify "dosn't mean he is anything like Fox News"....your right his bias is much greater

  • crowder chugger

  • Wow, this was just a pathetic attempt to take a stab at someone who will never give you a thought. I feel incredibly uneasy after watching your attempts to be funny. Conservatives are rarely funny, and this is no exception.

Please stick to what you're good at; at this point I have no idea what that is.

  • "I think there is no discussion where Jon's heart lies, I think he wears it on his sleeve to a certain degree."

"Not only do hollywood and media have a bias, that they attempt to hide at all costs, but they also operate through a system of instilling fear and to both talent and representation in order to stifle voices of descent and selectively edit the national dialogue. While they pose as nothing more than moderates."

What the fuck do you think "wearing your heart on your sleeve" means?

  • Well, the guy criticizes/makes fun of the guys who are doing the most illogical things at the time. You're going to tell me that Bush didn't provide more than enough material for Jon or any other comedian to use for all of the eight years he served. I never heard much of the president when I was a child(that would be Clinton's administration, until the whole Lewinsky thing, that I heard plenty about), but as soon as Bush(who just happened to be my state Governor, and I'd never heard of him) ran

  • @bluchismoon for president, suddenly it was all anyone would talk about. He made too many mistakes and had so many faux pas, what's a comedian to do? At the time of the interview Obama was still a fresh baby-faced idealistic guy. There wasn't much to criticize yet. And I know pundits are supposed to be some expert in their field, but read the definition online. They give opinions, and really isn't everyone's opinion biased in some way?

  • The real reason they probably didn't have him on is he is a conservative satirist. They invite conservative politicians and news people/pundits on their show all the time because they're the fuel for the majority of Stewart's act. Having someone who mocks liberal ideas and who would point out the factual denials required to hold some liberal stance would not play well for their narrative.

  • All of your arguments were taken out of context, you can even see it in the video. They only have high profile pundits, not you. Also, as the MTV guy said, George Bush was an easier target. Of course you weren't going to address that.

  • I looked into it. Bill O'Reilly's a pundit who's been on the Daily Show more than once, Glenn Beck and a couple others were invited and declined. I've watched the show now and then, and it doesn't seem like Stewart makes any effort to hide his liberal slant-- I just get the impression he considers his degree of liberalism moderate.

He's also openly criticized fellow dem/liberal pundits. Dunno if I'd say he's a class act, but the coward characterization doesn't pan out.

  • Odd. I can't remember Stewart ever hiding his bias. Thing is as a comedian he is allowed to be biased. Anyone claiming to be a news operations really isn't.

  • They bring on public figures, not "experts". They get more laughs from people the public recognize.

  • Why is it legitimate for Jon Stewart to criticize Fox News for only having like-minded guests when he does the same thing?

Lets see.... The Daily Show doesn't masquerade as a non biased news organization. It's purpose is comedic entertainment. Fox News on the other hand likes to pretend that they are a legitimate news source.

Plus lets face it, humor tends to go over the heads of conservatives.

  • @StayClassyYou why is fox news not a legitmate news source? I dont wanna hear O'reily and Hannity either cause those are clearly entertainment. I do get tired of all the hard core conservatives on Fox like bob beckel, juan williams, and the worst right wing nut who has a whole show alan colmes

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Hannity, O'Reily, Beck, Coulter ... They're all clowns that pretend to be legitimate. The type of nonsense they allow to be said uncontested is quite frankly disgusting.

  • @StayClassyYou vague and insulting, the liberal way...

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Honestly picking out an example is like taking a sip out of a fire hose.... How about the birth certificate scandal? The hypocrisy on the Libya debacle, the sad part is that because all you watch is your Fox propaganda channel you have no idea how misinformed you are...

  • @StayClassyYou all I watch is fox news, you know me so well. There's a problem right there. That's a statement you assume is fact but you dont really know. Whats the hypocrisy of Libya? Why shouldn't the man have to prove the requirements for the highest executive position of our nation? Why did they wait two years to flash some simple paperwork. last time I moved I had to show mine just to reinstate my license.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Don't get all butthurt you just defended Fox News. To the intellectual world that's inexcusable. With Libya Fox News and Republicans like Gingritch were calling for action until Obama took it.

Why did he wait to years? For the invaluable political tool... for 2 years conservatives ran around making themselves look like idiots to the general population (e.g. Donald Trump)

I won't willingly subject myself to anymore clips, the discussion is beneath educated humans.

  • @StayClassyYou the self proclaimed "classy intellectual" just called me butthurt nice. So fox news reporting that republicans are asking to see a birth certificate is not legitimate news? I also didn't realize fox news had an official stance on libya, maybe i missed something. Opposition to your point of view is beneath you? You sound classy and so intelligent.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Fox News is beneath intellectual debate, yea. That's fairly universal among the educated world. Show me instance of a non partisan stance by a talk show host. Maybe you'll find one or two, but it won't be easy.

  • @StayClassyYou I completely agree but that's all political shows on all networks. Fox is more conservative for sure I would never argue otherwise. What about msnbc, mathews, maddow, or colmes on fox. Everybody leans one way or the other on all networks. Does that make the news not legitimate? Meet the press, any radio talk show all biased. I think your confusing "fair and balanced" for unbiased. By the way word to the wise, err intellectual. I wouldn't try sipping from a fire hose, high pressure

  • @Naptownstreetsquid The difference between Fox and other opinion based news is that Fox exists solely for the purpose of propagating the Republican neo-con views. I mean other hosts on MSNBC, CNN, etc. will at least criticize democrats or sometimes offer contrary views. This is something you never see on Fox. Its not even that I don't like Fox because I disagree with their views, its the whole attitude.

Lol that was the whole point of the fire hose analogy.

  • @StayClassyYou The Fox news network exists solely for propaganda supporting neo cons, thats your stance? Ever seen Stossels show? what about Alan colmes? You made the reference to the fire hose saying examples are so easy to find its as easy as sipping from a fire hose. Sipping from a fire hose would not be easy, it would hurt. LOL (lol, seriously intellectual)

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Add Eric Boller to the list of Fox News trash

And to take the proverbially sip from the fire hose.... youtube search "atheist gets kicked off Fox News"

  • @StayClassyYou What!?! are you serious? No you didnt and you know it. There is so many examples Its hard to pick one out! You are not serious. You got caught making a bad analogy and now you want to try and defend it. Just let it go im not a dick thats going to rake you over the coals about it I stick to the issues. Also beck got cancelled for being to far out there, so even fox agrees with you, and so do I in that instance.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Don't embarrass yourself further. Notice when you said you wouldn't recommend drinking... I said "Lol that was the point" There is such an enormous volume of examples that picking out just one is incredibly difficult. Even for a Fox viewer I am surprised how difficult this analogy is for you to grasp......

Beck got canceled because he lost so many advertisers. Notice Beck the neo-con was the only slightly differing view from Republican mainstream....

  • @StayClassyYou i completely agree I just think its ludacris, like saying i cant see the trees cause of the forest. I'm done with it. 10 comments or something and you can't validate your statement that fox is not a legitimate news source, still waiting. Fact is a lot of the stories they report I see on other networks as well. So I guess most news is just not legitimate in your eyes.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid I gave you an example of a clip to search on youtube, if you require more examples type in Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, (insert name of Fox News show host). Without fail each clip will involve some overly aggressive, loud host citing opinions as fact, misinterpreting data, screaming socialist, or just abusing the meaning of the word news in some other sense.

If you have any specific questions give me a link and I'll point out to you exactly what's wrong with it.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid This is actually quite hilarious. I can't believe how fixated you've become on a simple analogy that apparently flew way over your head. This isn't even an comparison I made up, its actually quite common. I'd rather not fixate on it too much more because it makes me question the amount of time I'm taking to respond to such a "quick-witted" individual. If you require more examples I recommend a Google search.

  • @StayClassyYou I'm sorry buddy but that doesn't remove the legitimacy of the story. All those people you named have repeatedly announced their conservative stance. This does not remove the legitimacy from the story they are reporting on then giving opinion about. One of the people you mention is no longer on fox, the other two have 1 hour shows. Fox is on 24 hours a day 7 days a week for the last 15 years. You have not even come close to discredit the entire network.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Every host is basically interchangeable. I also mentioned Coller and Coulter.

How about the studies that show the average Fox viewer is less informed than an individual who doesn't watch the news at all... what does that tell you?

How about the memos sent to hosts and "news" anchors giving them their daily talking points i.e. death tax, gov't option, obamacare, etc. All for the purpose of slanting in Republican favor. Do some of your own research or stay ignorant.

  • @StayClassyYou howtheworldworks did a 20 minute video debunking that university of Maryland study, research that or stay ignorant. Ann coulter doesn't have a show she is a political analyst. All beside the point. All stories are relevant, legitimate stories, regardless of "the slant". Once again if you want to argue bias look elsewhere for opposition.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid I never had a problem with their bias.. the problem is that they deny the bias. I watched the HowtheWorldWorks video and was thoroughly unimpressed. Did you look at the quiz... Questions like is the President Muslim... and his own interpretation of policy effects don't really discredit the study. Don't forget all the obvious empirical evidence.

I notice you've failed to explain any of the 3 links I've posted now...

  • @StayClassyYou Yes I watched your at atheist vid. That guy should have stuck to the issues. The atheist started using Eric's show as a forum to explain why he thought christianity is insulting and the whole idea of the religion is terrible (hell and such).

thats just insulting to Eric, being a christian, and to his audience which is surely majority christian. Eric was polite and explained why he was letting him go. Eric never attacked atheism. He had a valid point why attack christianity?

  • @Naptownstreetsquid You've been watching Fox so long you don't know how a legitimate interview is conducted. The atheist group (though annoying) are right. It is unconstitutional to put up a nativity scene on government property. (See the establishment clause of the First amendment if that confuses you).

Coller says the scene is not an insult to the atheists because he Coller is a Christian.... um asinine. That doesn't even make sense.

Ben Franklin was a self-identified Deist...

  • Comment removed

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Republic. We have the Constitution to protect the rights of the minority from majority factions. (If this sounds crazy to you read the Federalist papers, Fed 10 if you can't last through 85)

Why attack Christianity? He wasn't, he was explaining why he finds the scene insulting despite Coller's assurances that no the scene is ok because its not insulting to anyone.

Did you watch the other two links?

  • @Naptownstreetsquid The historical inaccuracies are typical of Fox. Ben Franklin was a Deist as I mentioned above. Deists believed in a higher power (God, nature, etc.) what they didn't believe in was organized religion.

To try to say the Founding Fathers would agree with Coller and his "panel" is absolutely incorrect and you can read what all the framers of the Constitution believed if you don't trust me. They are clearly expressed in the Constitution and the Federalist Papers.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid I assume you know how to enter a youtube extension? Then again I never heard your reply from the previous one I posted..

    watch?v=qFAl_V878bw&feature=plcp&context=C30ed14aUDOEgsToPDskI1Mq-sbnoPb44lEn2o6Qls

    watch?v=WX4i1u8V7Hg&feature=plcp&context=C34cb07fUDOEgsToPDskIR1XqCLU4lXUwcEETjGMTX

If you want more, or written sources I can provide them. They aren't hard to find... If you really trust Fox News you may be immune to facts by now unfortunately...

  • @StayClassyYou Well you didnt post an extension you suggested search key words to find a video but yes I am capable of using your extensions. Not impressed by lee's take on the study, why am I not surprised. I doubt you watched the video if you think his own interpretations are what brought him to that conclusion.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid I watched it a long time ago, and like you said it was over 20 mins long. I remember leaving the video unimpressed, but if I have time I'll check it out again.

  • You don't have a "right" to be on TDS. I've never heard of you. I'd change the channel if I saw you were the guest.

And unless im dreaming, I seem to have recalled seeing bill o'reilly, bernie goldberg, bill kristol and numerous conservative pundits on TDS multipe times.

As for jon, he is a liberal commentator. He doesn't hide that. He just doesn't carry himself like a lot of pundits nowaday. while he does lean left, he doesn't pander to the left. Ask obama, rick sanchez, msnbc, cnn.....

  • Wow son read a book, you couldnt have found someone out of the million of dirtbag tv reporters to attack, your upset your not on the show? This is garbage, go after Newt, Romney, Santorum, Chris Matthews, O'donnell, O'reilly, you know the real detriments to a free America. what about being top tier? you know like how the media tries to choose our presidents for us? YOu ever wonder why shit keeps getting worse for us?.... I promise its not because your not on the Jon Stewart show.

  • @yourliestopshere what, wow... Newt, Romney, Santorum detriments to a free America? Just curious, who do you support?

  • @Naptownstreetsquid I support our Constitution, you should read it, if you did you would know who i support. Its a fact!!!

  • @yourliestopshere nice dodge

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Nice hating.

  • @Naptownstreetsquid Arguing a valid point to a liberal is a waste of time, buddy. If they had any intelligent thought in their head, they wouldn't be liberals.

  • Take a chill pill.

  • ignore the haters,

    keep doin your thing crowder.

for what it's worth you got more brains and common sense than 1,000,000 nancy pelosis'

  • honestly man you really do just seem mad at him for not putting u on his show.

  • i want to see drinkingwithbob beat up this doofy steve guy

  • Bush sucked. Clinton was great. Obama's dealt with opposition with everything he does. Even when deciding condiments. He's average, not awful and not a socialist. Crowder you're not even funny. Your humor is terrible and your Guantanamo video deserves to be taken off youtube. Stewart has conservatives on. The big ones. You're not big. You're on youtube and a station that lies too often. That's it.

  • You seem like you're trying too hard. In fact, it reeks. Conservatives just aren't funny in general. It always come off as shrill and whiny. Just calm down a bit...

  • @MitchuII

Of course you would say that. Conservatives simply don't follow your sick sense of humor.

  • Awww, they don't want you, I can't imagine why...

  • Right on target, Crowder. Thanks for posting this.

  • why u mad tho?

  • There were plenty of Fox News pundits who appeared on the Daily Show. Just because they won't allow some random YouTube blogger like you on it, doesn't mean that Stewart is "mad" or anything like that.

  • Uh, usually I likey you videos. But this one kinda reeks of "let's pick on Jon Stewart for some reason".

If anyone watches so much as one of Jon Stewart's episodes, they should be able to sniff out what he is putting in the wind.

  • god you are annoying. glad that people dont have to bear you on tv anymore.

  • keep going! i like watching your videos!

  • Why is it liberals never admit to being liberal?

  • They have conservatives on the show all the time - but only conservatives that matter.

You, Mr. YoutubeHero, do not. They have conservatives on - HIGH PROFILE ones, as it states in that very email that you are flaunting.

    The funniest thing, is that

    U MAD.

    Jon Stewart, is not.

  • @Tartersauce101 What real conservative are you talking about the ones that won't fight back look how O'relly smash his ass every time they get together all he has on is the same welfare state far-left losers that msnbc, cbs, abc, cnn, have on so pull your head out of obamas ass so the truth can get in dumb ass

  • Comment removed

  • @Tartersauce101

Add to that Conservatives like Glenn Beck who are invited on but won't go on. There is no conspiracy here... Stephen Crawder is just not very talented.

  • @jgolderer amen

  • Painful to watch.

  • This is bullshit. TDS has conservatives on all the time. What they don't have are people like this guy, who are purely a mouthpiece for their own badly informed opinions.

  • Reality has a liberal bias. Its so ammusing to see people like Crowder not understand this.

  • So Stewart is "stifling" conservative voices? I guess he's never had any of the following guests: Rumsfeld Ashcroft Paul O'Neill Tom Ridge Bob Dole Kay Bailey Hutchison Trent Lott John McCain Lynne Cheney Rand Paul Rick Santorum Ron Paul Newt Gingrich John Bolton Andrew Card Ari Fleischer Scott McClellan Dana Perino Richard Perle Tony Snow Mitch Daniels Mike Huckabee Tim Pawlenty Rick Perry Rudy Giuliani Pat Buchanan Bill Kristol Ed Gillespie Ken Mehlman Bill O'Reilly Yep, no conservatives ever.
  • It's ironic that you criticize Stewart and the Daily Show for liberal bias and hypocrisy in chastising Fox News for their own bias, but you are in fact doing the exact thing for which Jon criticizes conservatives like those at Fox News. You are selectively quoting the email and not including the entire context. Look at the following sentence, the producer notes that they frequently have conservative guests (Kristol, Oreilly, etc.), just not conservative PUNDITS. "Pundit" is the operative word.

  • laf... he makes funny faces, he must be a COMEDIAN.... It is a sad fact that John Stewart's COMEDY show is taken as news; a fact that has been both provided and manufactured by the lame stream media misses.

Is this guy gonna talk about the happy/sad face masks that represent drama next?

  • Did this guy even read the so called email? I can't see everything because he has obviously left some stuff out of the shot.(1:38 mark). They clearly state that they have sometimes high profile news anchors and even religious figures on the show. Just not HIM. Quit whining! They probably have seen this guys videos and figured they can't use him because he's not funny and wouldn't even work as comic relief.

  • wow this is him whining about not getting into the show....I have never seen such crying before

  • @KrasusDumat But it's not crying, it's the manic ravings of someone so unbalanced that they have trouble controlling the tempo of their speech.

  • @hapmp1 Lol no better words can be said about this self-consumed man who believes himself greater then he is. Obviously he knows little about humbling thyself and allows his hurt pride to take shape.

  • I love this video so much, I want to have sex with it!

  • I genuinely feel as though my IQ is dropping as I watch Crowder. He's about as effective at furthering pathetic Conservative ideology as a fork in a fight against a bear.

  • @IamTetsuo360 The best part is that he doesn't understand why Hollywood supposedly skews liberal. It's because actors spend their working hours completely absorbing other people's identities. This causes them to become empathetic individuals who understand reality's complexity and nuance, i.e. liberals. It's easy to be a conservative when you've never tried to empathize with anyone who has a differing opinion or perspective.

  • Comment removed

  • What a tool. Usually, we move away from our parents' politics by the time we get to college.

  • you are a real loser dude

  • What the fuck did I just watch?

How is it even possible that someone is more awkward than Glenn Beck at attempting to be funny?

  • Isn't Crowder the scumfucktard who thinks the United State's mixed healthcare system is superior to Universal healthcare? Nature has a liberal bias and that's the difference, lol. It's not hard to understand why Stewart wouldn't want to invite morons onto his show. If you can't even sort out the most basic of things, you have nothing of value to contribute.

Crowder, are you incapable of reasoning?

  • @psychointegrator1989 But Stewart has conservatives on all the time, Ed Gillespie was on just a week or two ago. The problem for Crowder is that Stewart doesn't have no-name conservative pundits on his program. Who the hell would watch that? Most of the views Crowder gets on youtube are from people who are here to make fun of him.

  • He had Bill Orielly on a bunch of times.

  • @TheMischaReviews And Bill Kristol, who is one of his most frequent guests. The only guest I can think of who has been on more times is probably Neil DeGrasse Tyson, who has been on frequently because he's an incredibly famous, accomplished, and charismatic scientist.

  • Haha, you're friggin awesome Steven.

  • But he isn't a news source. He delivers liberal slanted comedy. Nobody should expect anything otherwise.

  • @chopath don't be a hypocrite. In Israel they can peacefully protest and gays are allowed existence. In Arab countries gays get executed and protestors shot and killed.

  • @Alexplus20 But Palestinians aren't allowed to exist in Israel. They live in apartheid used to coerce them into a sweetheart deal that favors Israeli hardliners, like those residing in the illegal settlements on Palestinian land. Most Israelis are awesome people, but their government is controlled by bigots and fascists like Avigdor Lieberman and Benjamin Netanyahu.

  • @hapmp1 lol its not bigotry or fascistry to defend and retaliate against near constant bombardment.

  • Why is that MTV pres guy's soundbite there? Is he Jon's boss? Does MTV do politics now? How long has this been going on?

Gonna be honest here.... I only clicked because I thought I'd see stewart clips. Disappointing.

  • 1:00 Two things you will never be

  • Awesome!

  • Jon Stewart is too soft on Israel and its human rights violation

  • Wouldn't want you on the show either little boy.

  • Jon is a ass kisser period.

  • Yeeea, thing is he has had a lot of conservative pundits on his show...

  • @afare1 But those people weren't JUST pundits, they also had some real accomplishments to their names, like working for presidential administrations (e.g. Dana Perino, Ari Fleischer, etc.), being actual journalists (e.g. Bret Baier), being accomplished authors and academics (e.g. Richard Brookhiser), having held political office (e.g. Tom Ridge, Mike Huckabee, etc.), or otherwise distinguished themselves INDEPENDENT of their punditry. Crowder is just lazy and unaccomplished.

  • this is stupid, you are a whining baby,"Boohoo, jon stewart doesn't want me on the show Boohoo!

  • @getlostinadub pointing out unfair bias is the most important thing a person who is back door banned can do.

  • @getlostinadub Nice ad hominem.

  • @getlostinadub Boo hoo. Jon Stewart is a hypocritical Leftist hack. Boo hoo.

As if the rest of the Leftists aren't. Is that what you're trying to say?

  • Jon Stewart isn't biased. He's sane.

  • jon stewart is a closet conservative..and cobair is a closet liberal..that is why they are Both So Funny!! jmo

  • @PARAMITI Colbert's liberalism is closeted? It's pretty blatant and obvious if you have any sense of humor.

  • Comment removed

  • how dare this comedian on a faux news show have a bias. theyre supposed to only be biased in memos right. you wanna bitch about someone getting mad? look at your gay marriage or palestine videos. racism and biggotry run amuck. no human in such a position as yours should ever get so bent out of shape about such remote issues that don't concern them.

  • He's doing mental gymnastics to convince himself he got rejected because he's a CONSERVATIVE pundit, but really it's because he's a conservative PUNDIT (and that's being generous) who is only well known to a small-ish niche audience who wouldn't watch TDS to save their firstborn son anyway as opposed to the nationally known authors, political leaders, or Hollywood actors they usually have.

Also they're just saying he's talented to be nice and soft pedal the rejection, probably.

  • I thought this guy was a comedian, I was mistaken

  • I can't agree more

  • how can you see jon stewart as representative of all of hollywood? he doesn't even see himself as an actual newscaster, for god's sake-his show's on comedy central, in case you weren't aware. if it makes you feel better, go watch fox news and see for yourself an example of HOLLYWOOD'S CONSERVATIVE AGENDA OMFGG

  • All the love goes out to you, Steven.

please, see to that you read the the-undercurrent

  • Jon Stewart is a comedian and according to the first amendment he can be as biased or unbiased as he wants. If you're for the constitution you should be all for opposing viewpoints such as those from Stewart. Freedom of speech is about allowing those who you don't agree with to share their view points. Goebbels and Qaddafi were for free speech too, as long as it fit their view of the world.

  • @Amblue33 You Leftists and your disgusting straw man arguments. Because if you call people biased hacks, this means you want them forcefully taken off the air, amiright? The only way your smear is not a straw man is if you're so stupid that you think the First Amendment actually guarantees what it is you're implying it does here. As for "comedian," you're a tool if you fall for his "clown nose on, clown nose off" bit. And to top it all off, you pull a Godwin. You're a hack, just like Stewart.

  • @canofsand You sir are a Comic genius. I mean taking the ironic pose of acusing the LEFT of using straw man arguments... that's brilliant man. First of all, learn to write; what are you 10? I mean your structures barely legible. Or maybe it's not you, just the fact that your ranting like a stupid child. Being a hack also doesn't mean somone should be off air, idiot, it just means there a hack. The idea, unwanted speech should be removed I.E (Anti democracy), is a right wing one.

  • @canofsand See Menzies Communist party ban for an example.

  • @canofsand

Where did I ever say anyone should be taken off air? I didn't so don't put words in my mouth. The news is actually supposed to provide something that's factual, a comedian regardless of the topic is a comedian. Are you going to tell me that Bill Maher and Steven Crowder are members of the news as well because after all they talk about it? I know it must be hard to accept that Stewart has a bigger audience than Fox but he's still just a comedian.

  • @canofsand Have you ever seen any live standup comedy?

The best comedians vacillate between their rehearsed material and earnest, serious social commentary, e.g. George Carlin, Lenny Bruce, Bill Hicks, etc.

  • If you read the whole email you'll notice that they are not saying they avoid CONSERVATIVES they just avoid PUNDITS like this guy, this guy reminds me of the fox news PUNDITS

  • @Esoteric49 News flash this guy works for fox news.. what do you expect? The only comedy here is not what he has to say but him himself.

  • 2:20. I'd like to see that argument. It'd last for about 10 seconds right up til someone brought up Fox News, then boom goes the dynamite.

  • Chris Wallace, Bill O'rielly, Bill Crystal, Juan Williams, Rick Perry have all been on the daily show. Please stop talking

  • LEHEHEHEHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME

  • be funnier steven.. dont go all glen beck on us

  • @JeremiahMT Wait, he can be funny? All I see is manic whining and self-absorbed bitching that some nobody on the internet didn't get picked as a guest on the Daily Show.

Maybe they want someone who has actually achieved something other than making youtube videos? Maybe politicians, noted authors, and comedians who are actually funny deserve the few guest spots the Daily Show has.

Why doesn't Crowder try to get on The Tonite Show, Leno is about as unfunny as him.

  • The reason Jon Stewart has a show is because he makes money for Viacom.

and the reason he makes money is because he is FUNNY. The reason you have to make YouTube Videos out of your parents basement crying about Jon show is because you are not funny. Really you Suck.
