pak army was not in golden temple ? ISI may have been but pakistan did not put boots on the ground. Pak even helped india dismantle sikh networks, in return india was suppose to withdraw from siachien glacier back to 1971 postion.
Swat is complex , its a built up area with high civilian deaths if the army goes it. The sharia law deal isolated the terrorist. The only reason india hasnt sent its army is because there is no common border. Parts of india are in control of maoist too

tats very generous of pak to help us in dismantling sikh network (last I heard, ifrastracture is still there but all ppl are killed or captured, most of them atleast). u know, first set up terrorist camps and then ask favours to dismantle them... gud idea. we may not have common border with swat, but afgans do.. and India and afganistan are allys..army did go in to swat and got kicked out..nyways, in india, we do not sign peace deals with terrorists..

Our pluralism and respect for all religions is perhaps our biggest asset. That said, our patience is our biggest enemy. We should have nuked sri lanka after rajiv gandhi's assasination. We should have frickin taken Pak to a task after mumbai and other attacks. We are soft on them. And they know it.Somehow, I dont see a China or a Russia or a US putting up with a premier being assasinated by a country the size of dust or a neigbor funding clandestine activity.
