This is so beautiful. I am the choir director at St. Andrew's Orthodox church in New Port Richey, Fl. I have heard this arrangement and would love to have a copy of this music.
stevensonrf..we're Orthodox Christians..it's part of the Christian Orthodox culture, the remnant of the One Holy Apostolic and Catholic Church, the Blessing of ancestral and the handed down Tradition and tradition! THAT, goes a long way in explaining it. 2+ language competent is a part. When I was little in the early 60's , I accompanied my favorite Aunt to Roman Mass, you know, back before Vat II and all that . Now, they have women/girls in the Altar area, 'helping' the Priest. Very sad..!
