One thing I appreciate that the UFC does is that put together and entire card and give you 4 or 5 good fights and they promote all of them. Boxing gives you one fight and doesn't even bother to tell you who is one the undercard and they charge you 55 dollars! Boxing should put better fights on the undercard, but that would be too much money b/c the headliners make so much money.

Plus, leg kicks aren't used to end fights so that arguement is pretty ignorant on your part. Machida went after Shogun once and got rocked as a reward while landing nothing of his own just swinging widely and getting blocked/parried.

but over here UFC 103 got shown on channel 5 for the first time and pulled many viewers with good ratings, also UFC 105 in manchester has sold out with a month still to go before the event so i think it may go mainstream on TV channels in the next couple of years

The reason why Ufc is getting more popular is because when you pay for a UFC card you get 4 or 5 top fights,usually 1 title match..no bullshot 30 different titles,the best fight the best,nobody ducks anyone...,Dont get me wrong i love boxing and Pacman and Floyd generate huge number's but the PPV you pay for sucks...you pay for 2 or 3 shit undercard fight then the main event...Ufc is better value for money..

You gotta clearly beat the champ! their not going to take away his belt when there was NO take downs NO knock downs they barely even touched each other during that fight. Good decision but definitly a rematch and tell them both to actually fight this time...But like i said,a champ is not going to lose his belt unless he was CLEARLY beat. I dont think it was unanamous but shogun didnt clearly win that fight outright.

How did Shogun almost break Machida's leg? You do realize Machida's been kicked in the legs since he was an infant right? When you do Kumite in Shotokan, you're kicked frequently in the legs. You're sensei starts fucking kicking your legs in your stance. Trust me, I've had 10 years of that shit. Were Lyoto's leg's punished? Absolutely. But it wasn't to the extent were his leg's would buckle like Cote's when he fought Silva. No where near that actually.

That's why at the end of round 3 he made Shogun run away with a barrage of punches and knees right? Shogun wasn't good that night, Lyoto was better. And come re match, Lyoto will be 100 times better compared to how he was at UFC 104.

First off Machida fell into Shogun's chest after that hook. Secondly, leg kicks are an extremely effective tactic to use. Forrest won his UD over Rampage due to leg kicks, Jardine has ended a fight due to leg kicks and I'm sure if I looked there would be a lot more. Plus, leg kicks aren't used to end fights so that arguement is pretty ignorant on your part. Machida went after Shogun once and got rocked as a reward while landing nothing of his own just swinging widely and getting blocked/parried.

The reason Forrest won was due to the leg kicks, taking away Rampage's legs. Obviously you don't know shit about MMA. Neither Machida nor Shogun landed anything gamebreaking but Shogun used a smart gameplan and wore down Machida with kicks and knees on the fence. Machida was almost constantly on his heels backing up from Shogun and was getting out-countered. Please move Machida's nuts out of your line of sight, you obviously can't watch MMA unless it's through "Machida vision."

Machida was not at all worn out as he was still moving around. Backing up? I think it was Machida who landed 4 knees in the first 4 seconds, and it was Machida who gave Shogun a black eye, and Machida who gave Shogun a big ass welt on his head. You also wouldnt see UFC go mainstream on tv channels. In saying that Dana is good for sport, HOWEVER, i hate how UFC bought out PRIDE and just dismantled the whole organisation, thats created some extremely bad blood for UFC for people that know PRIDE well. UFC makes some good decisions in the fights. I fully agree with the UFC decision to have Dan Henderson vs Nate Marquardt. Dan has fought Anderson Silva, he was also defeated convincinly, it wasnt close. So it makes sense to have Nate vs Dan.

but over here UFC 103 got shown on channel 5 for the first time and pulled many viewers with good ratings, also UFC 105 in manchester has sold out with a month still to go before the event so i think it may go mainstream on TV channels in the next couple of years
