Hell the CTS-V barely has any at all, it's got one to run the fuel injection and ignition, one to run the radio, gps and similar luxuries, and an ABS module with a traction control you can toggle between on and completely off. You don't have to spend fifteen minutes setting the car up if the mood hits. Just drop three cogs, nail the gas and steer left to go right! SOOOO much simpler.

The looks are brilliant any real car owner would know and the sound isnt opinionated if its a 6.2 Liter V8 not some stupid Fart Cannon you call an exhaust pipe. And there is no way in hell the STI could reach 500 hp under that amount of money or without the gearbox exploding.

I like STI's a lot, but it seems to me that EVERYONE has one... Kinda played in my opinion (I know as if anyone asked for my opinion...) After a year of debating and saving $, I think I've finally decided to go with the Evo... More unique and from what I hear better overall... Im not writing this to get anyone riled up for any reason... and YES I know they each have their perks... just Evos seem to have more.

lol at everyone arguing. their both amazing cars and any of you that own one or the other should just be happy you have it. I personally own an evo 8 and i love. i have driven the sti and plain wrx as well and i do like those quite a bit. i personally like the looks, interior, and the handling of the evo better compared to the sti. the sti sounds meaner however. but the nice deep rumble shakes windows.

I bought my Subaru because it sounds 100 times better then the fart sounding evo. And i could give a flying fuck if the evo was .000001908 seconds faster to 60 then the Subaru or if it could go through the slalom at 79.5994839. instead of 80.
