Wow... people from x or y religion ACTUALLY think they're not beliving blindly, don't they?. They ACTUALLY think they have proof of they¡r belivings.... wow.. that's so fucked up.
Wow! Having seen all 3 parts, I am 100% sure that people of religious faith are brainwashed! It seems to me that you are the actual "attackers" of Zeitgeist and not the other way around. Z was only trying to open people's eyes to what might be the actual truth in history. I don't believe that Z is trying to ruin people's lives either. To me, more people have been killed throughout history, in the name of religion, than any wars ever recorded by man. Such a shame to not see the truth.
Here's the main problem with all this so-called evidence that Christian apologists say is proof or evidence. NONE of them are contemporary. NONE of these writers were even alive during Jesus' supposed life time. NONE are making any historical claims about Jesus. ALL of them either only mention Jesus while talking about the myths Christians believing in or do not actually refer to Jesus Christ at all.
Flavius Josephus does appear to be the strongest evidence supporting a historical Jesus Christ, well that is if you don't do any research on Josephus or his works. Once you take the time to double check things you soon realize there are major problems making Josephus' writings 100% invalid as historical evidence. Antiquitie of the Jew is not an eye witness account nor written during the supposed life time of Jesus, it was not written until the year 94.FJ was also not even born until the year 37
I'm sorry hun, but your not telling the complete truth.Tacitus is simply giving a quick description of where Christians got their name and is not making a historical reference. Even more importantly Tacitus goes right on to say that what he just said about Christus (Jesus Christ) is a "pernicious superstition." • Tacitus was not even born until 56 CE so this cannot be an eye witness account.
babe u aint saying anything there nobody was there when history was created we all have to relie on writers nobody knows where the biginings starts,u speak about the flood of noah tell me how did noah get every pear of animal into the ark u are a christian guest u would defend ur faith but realy i dont believe in jesus christ cause i kno he is just a sun god not the son of god
As far as the parallel between the ten commandments and the questions found in the Book of the Dead, those laws held seemingly universally as the definitive ten commandments are, in reality, the product of a later source than the very different ten commandments contained in the Yahwist source material, which is the oldest of the sources whihc eventually came to be incorporated into the pentateuch.
I agree. It's very important to be objective and listen to all views before making up one's mind. We should not be partial and take sides before becoming well-informed. We should not take only what appeals to our pre-conceived ideas. Good Job !
Very good rebuttal. Your voice is beautiful and at the same time puts the point across in a straightfoward manner. Very happy to see someone else did the research because when I watched this movie I was like wait a minute thats not true but then it was on to the next bit etc etc.
So after watching all the videos (yours and zeitgeist's) I STUDIED for myself what is true, zeitgeist is obviously wrong and so are you.
I find comendable that you ask for people to not believe what they´re told but what they study for themselves, so they can see how wrong you and your beliefs are and how you pretty much encourage hate against catholisism.
The catholic beliefs that you state were adopted from paganism, are not the same that Justin Martyr stated, he said that, born of a god, without sexual union, the crucifiction, death, rebirth, ascension and miracles came from paganism, wich is true, and cristians not only catholics believe in those.
"The fact tha early christians recorded their own history does not discount the reliability", it kind of does since they wrote what they believed not what they saw or knew for a fact.
@zerooriginal1989 exactly man, all religions today have on thing in common, they are selfish.. i hope to see the day where everyman is considered son of god. its a shame, selfish thing to do this what about the Buddhists and ALL other beliefs, are they not worthy god's grace?! i have a profound respect for what Jesus gave us... there was no Christianity when he lived.. stop saying only Christians will be saved and start preaching to the whole world that was what Jesus would have wanted.. peace
"The fact that there are 147 negative confessions from the book of the dead gives probability a high chance for at least 4 of them being included in the 10 commandments"...... true.
"Even international governmental laws state that you should not steal or kill".....true also
But then if there are hundres of laws in each country, doesen't that give probability a high chance for at least 2 of them being included in the 10 commandments?
In zeitgeist it's stated that are over 200 claims of a flood not just the epic of gilgamesh.
"The fact that they are universal ancient records of a great flood supports the evidence that it must have been true", so that must mean that dragons are real since there are universal ancient records of they're existance.
"The attemped parallel between the BIRTHS of moses and sargon" are exactly as zeitgeist says, it never said anything about their WHOLE lives been identical.
I have watched Zeitgeist the movie and its addendum, and look forward to its third part up to be released.
I have watched your responds although im not a expert in both the fields ill take your word for the stated lies as called , and that they are wrong.
Thank you for all the effort in and research in.
english is not my native language my message above was meant in all ways good , plz if there is any offensive combination of words in there mail me and i will explain what i meant
that said , i think seeing your reponds as a effect of the cause , id say thier mission is succeeded, they dont want to dictate as far as i understand the zeitgeist movie. it is to inspire to learn / and become better. and turn the need ( education ) of the meany ( world population ) free of charge ( money ) , as most people, so that we can outgrow the need for a money system ( as its called ) ,
but again thanks for your great work keep it up , and sorry for the language errors
Great information, I thank you for posting this video. One thing though... "Jesus", as you say, is a Greek name, where as the in truth, this could not be possible. Seeing as "Jesus" was Jewish and spoke Hebrew-Aramaic I found many problems in both Zeitgeist and your own video. Please research what I have brought up in my comment. As you so vividly explained, do not simply believe what you want to believe, but rather believe in what is true.
