LOVE to see the video of "baby Curlin" - been searching like mad for images of him as a foal or yearling.

I'm headed to Belmont to see him this weekend. My favorite horse ever. I've got a video of him as well (it's in the sidebaar for related vids - "Curlin: 2007 Horse of the Year").

Oh... look at baby Curlin! Gosh, I look at that and I melt inside. *squeaks* It's a lovely video, it's just too bad about the video quality. Still, I love the song matched to the footage, and baby Curlin just stole my heart!

Of course I saw the Stephen Foster! And it looks like that record is well within reach. Have you heard he'll be breezed on turf and might go in the Man O' War if he likes it? And then the Arc...

Curlin is one of the best horses of all time. If they had more time between races he would be undefeated right now!

He has beaten every great horse of his crop.

The only reason I think Rags to Riches beat him is because the jockey on Hard Spun got paid a lot of money to keep Curlin from running well. He basically boxed him in on the rail the whole way around the track. Gomez's instructions on Hard Spun were to "go to the lead".

very nice video.....damn, only 57k, he is so handsome, i wish Curlin n RagsTR, kick th jockies off their back, n run together after the finish line in the belmont n just fly, that will be like the movie spirit a happy ending...run curlin run,...Curlin young stablemate Pyro is going to win the derby, n is a big threat to the triple crown...
