I have been a bouncer for 16 years. SOEDigital is right. Big fights do usually quickly break into a bunch of smaller ones. Here's why...the ideal group size to fight an INDIVIDUAL, is two or three. So as they splinter over and over again from the original group size, they will get closer and closer to this optimal ratio in at least some cases, reguardless of the total group sizes. That is why, in a brawl situation, bouncers shouldn't take the bait. They should always stay close together.
I can't tell if this is training for a bouncer / doorman or just how to survive a bar brawl. If it is the later, I guess it could show what to look for BEFORE it happens so you don't get trapped.
am i missing something? wheres the technique? it looks like a real bar fight w/ arms flailing and allot of talk. i've done multi attackers excercises too but c'mon. the 2nd guy to smack the little guy got the best hit. IMHO. anyway.. keep training i guess.
The great thing about this clip is that it showed that brawls involving mulitple people always split up. Almost every fight I've seen involving 5 or more people has split into two or more seperate fights going on away from each other. This always seams to happen. It's a good way to prove that even if you have your mates with you, they may not always have your back...they're most likely going to be busy in their own seperate tussle.
I'm sorry I don't know what your talking about. I just got this name from the maker of the hl2 mod called "garry's mod" The maker's name is garrynewman. So I just got the name "notgarrynewman".
Great job teaching people the wrong thing to do when getting jumped.....

The point I see in this drill is facing the fact that violence is what it is...VIOLENCE!
Maybe the next drill can address it from the Bouncer staff on how to contain-control & defuse the altercation.

typical aussie; spends more time in the bar scene than in the fight practice!

I love these demonstrations! It makes the 10+ years I spend doing martial arts seem like a total waste of time.

I feel bad for the kids in this video because now you know they think they can handle a real fight...

I bet that the ten (10) people to "favorite" this video are the ten (10) guys who were brawling.

U want to throw kicks in a bar( WET SURFACE )???
atran35 5 years ago
And also, you don't throw kicks where there are a lot of people next to you, you will lose balance if someone barely pushes you...
