maybe...the dvd lib is in its infant stages and to be honest needs a few updates as is it will play decrypted dvd's from a dvd-r pretty well but standard commercial disc's often tend to disappoint with crashes and just not playing...wait for updates or use a media app that reads AVI,MP$ ect like this or the new Mplayer ports that read from External USB,Network ect....

probably just youtube or the .avi file. videos work flawlessly on my wii (not .mkv's though, but .avi's works like a charm)

USE THE MPLAYER DVD program found on wiibrew dot o r g

ALSO YOU HAVE TO GRAB DVDX and install it from Hackmii blog or the wiibrew it enables the dvd to be read in the first place ;) if you do not have a mod chip...Just choose NORMAL INSTALL for dvdx and then dvd's can be read ;)

bit of topic bro but yeah like i stated in the vid ONLY TO END OF JULY (had no idea so many people would cop a "you owe me" attitude or even as much as SPAM the playground about me adding them to my FC roster so I erased it and ALL of my roster (well everyone but my friend tom and scott locals) so now i am back to 2 people on my roster so dont feel to left out you and a few others are the ONLY people i liked enough to bother with more than legends for ;) ANYWAY I have some Mugen Projects to do!

you are apparently doing something wrong follow directions from the link to find the Geexbox official SOURCE LINK and follow it...there you can ask about tech issue NOT HERE if you need help running brew ask the folks at the forums said brew is released on your comments will be erased in regard to running homebrew I AM NOT A TECH SERVICE...

WAD MANAGER by waninkoko that is how i installed the EMULATOR channels like snes9x and fce ultra nes ,GBA and other emulators i use via a CHANNEL ;)

i will when its able to run backups and becomes more stable but for now its more a POC than anything bro ;) BTW it alows a few other emus to load roms via dvd as well now ;) waninkoko is most def the man for the job! :)

hey vettacossx, did you hear that thier is a custoom ios?!! this means that you can acces the dvd drive now!!!! omg the only thing it supports atm is genplus rom loading :) you should make a video on that.

lol LOVE the choice of using Custom IOS rather than custom firmware it is proof you are reading what the devs post that gets a ton of respect in my eyes love your choice in words man! custom IOS is much more accurate!

have ya tried Mplayer yet? its awesome you can get it at wiibrew ;) its much better stability but not the nice overtop GUI like geexbox ;) but i think it does have usb external support as well ;)

i mainly use my modded xbox for media, just wanted to try this since i saw usb support, and i had a spare usb hdd, but... ill probably stick with this and when the bugs get worked out... ill be very happy, check out my profile and look at my media center video(youve probably seen xbmc before, but watever)

I use my 360! it supports external USB for media! just not for demo's and games ;)

i use a Western Digital Book external USB based HDD its 320 gigs and cost about 90$ at best buy and prob LESS AT TIGER DIRECT website ;) the best for cheap entertainment! lol

also the USB external i use is FAT32 thats important i'm sure :P

well at least you have to do the media update! LMAO yeah its a damn good system both wii and 360 but i dont like the ps3 this year however next year looks better 4 the ps3 :)
