Great job on your scratch build. Looked like a great plane to fly. Of all the RC videos on youtube, scratch builds get the most respect and admiration from me. Now that the finished prototype of the J-20 hit the press, maybe you can tackle that design and have another stab at a cool looking stealth.

@Omar142118 the canards are fixed, i wanted to modify them later but i totalled this one after putting a more powerful motor on it. i just built this from scratch from a 3 view pic of the concept plane. if i knew how to make plans, i would post in a heartbeat cause you're like the 30th person to ask.

@BRANDORC He's referring to the non-dispersing contrails in the sky, of which there are many. They are not normal aircraft trails but in all likelihood, chemtrails. You'll need to google that if you are not up-to-speed on the subject.

That's slick, you should fiberglass it for some more speed. I found the graysons don't meet their full potential unless you glass the bird

Hey BRANDORC, nice jet, cool video and good flying! What did you mean in your comment below about advancing the timing on the speed control?

i thought i replied to this one already, dumb internet! lol. well, it's just like a car, you put a beefy motor and give it lots of fuel, you need to advance the spark timing to burn it all as quickly as possible. my e-flite esc has 5 different settings for advancement (depending on the motor poles) from standard rpm's and great flight times to screaming rpms and very little flight times. the esc was programmed basically to dump as much voltage from the battery to the motor as possible.

that's after i switched to a 20c discharge lipo. i never payed attention before with the discharge rate. for jets, the higher the discharge the better. advancing the timing on the speed control helped a bunch too. thanks for your comment.
