  • it looked fake in the beggining but super cool

  • Its fake dumbasses

  • You have an AWESOME camera!

  • damn it's beautiful

  • You trained him well :P

  • Nice slow mo of dragonfly.

  • Great video and definitely not fake. Kudos to the photographer for capturing this. They are very fast. They can become airborne in several 1/100ths of a second.

  • Film one while it's getting a beetle (one about it's size)...

Because not so long ago, I saw a dragonfly land on the back of a beetle, try to chew on it, and then flew off with the beetle in it's legs.

  • I agree that it does look like CG, but if it is indeed real, awesome job! If it IS CG, awesome job anyway! lol.

  • to die of vertigo! life is wonderful!

    (beautiful video btw, thanks!)

  • Looks totally fake.

  • Wow,that's awesome,great shot!!

  • oh my gosh this is amazing

  • Yes, @robotpredator8, it is. Animations are good, but they have a lack of normal movement

  • i'm 100% sure that this is fake, its animation of high graphic

  • @robotpredator8 - It's actually real. It took about 10 minutes to get the little guy to trust me and let me get close enough to film him. The Casio EX-F1 is a decent high-speed consumer grade camera. The rest of my high speed videos are also shot with the same camera.

  • @ValeVids too bad it's not really an animation, if it was you'd be working for pixar

  • @ValeVids but it looks fake

  • @ValeVids niice, i tried to capture a slow motion dragonfly for about 2 hours with no luck, couldn't get the bugga to stay still. The quality of this video is amazing!

  • Wow it's like a helicopter! Watch how it retracts its landing gears!

  • HOLY MOLY!! *mind blowed*

  • just one Word ... Wow

  • This is a fantastic shot! Congratulation! I liked most the first scene, when the dragonfly looks into the sky to figure out whats going on there...

  • @SteveMcHope It most likely does not look up in the sky since its eyes can already see much of it.. But more like behind itself

  • amaaaaaaazing aerodynamics!!! :-o

  • Great capture! :D
