The wreckage suggest that this is high speed collision. I dont know why people driving at high speed while visibility is zero, each of those involved just plainly asking for it to happen. First sign of fog/low visibility reduce ur speed, there might be fender-bender but not deally like this one.

Why drive into something like that if you can't see the front of your hood why would you drive on these people was just plain idiots. @fordbronco1991 the report said there was smoke or fog so that obviously would mean they couldn't see the other cars in front of them for them to have enough time to avoid the pile up, you should listen or read better before you make dumb comments like that...and at least show some respect for the people who died in the pile-up jeez.
