IF they really had to tear down this stadium (and granted I'm saying 'if' - I never believed the fake engineering reports) they should have built a New old Comiskey Park - I mean an updated modernized version of Comiskey 1.
@nowpitching22 that's pretty funny because, at the time, that was an idea that was floated around in certain circles but was laughed off. Until Baltimore built theirs and it was exactly that....a "new old" park.
the 90's were amazing. i remember i was in 7th grade when this happened. my dad took me to see parts of it being destroyed. thena after that i went to go see RATM lol
What a sad day....and the only monument they left was a crappy home plate replica that now stands in a parking lot. So much for history and tradition. Thanks for the video.
How sad to see them do this. Great video. I have always been a sox fan and this video is now in my favorite's. I was only 11 when this happened but I will never forget it

Reinsdorf demanded they build a new field or else he said he would move the team to tampa bay. They should have kept the old Comiskey Park.
