Hey Check out his other stuff or repost it on your Facbook page or better yet buy his CD's to show your support I have three plus Micheal Buble version Ron's song What Ever It Takes with Ron in a Duet, It's Micheal's CD Crazy Love.. Check it out
You all forget that music has only a single audience member that really matters, and He goes by many names, has only one chair front and center that faces you forever- nothing is ever lost or goes unnoticed.
people like ron s are in the background writtin' these great songs long live mr. sexsmith who i found out from a locale ny tv station hey ron i will always listen for your music keep it comin' my ears are open
If you understood what it was like, to have this song played everyday at work in order to BOOST morale and customer sales you'd understand why it has the opposite effect and why I've had to vote thumbs down.
Interesting comment by vracan (4th one down, below).
But if you've ever seen Ron 'live' you'd know he was very often actually better, in a way, than on his recordings - or at least, that's my view, having enjoyed around 7 or 8 of his shows.
His voice getting stronger, fuller and he always performs with great warmth, giving it his all, yet without undue strain, a master of his art indeed.
Giving up performing in favour of writing would be to deprive us of a uniquely gifted, inspiring artist..
Personnaly I think Ron is GREAT songwriter, but as performer/entertainer...not so much!
Probably the reason why he cannot get into mainstream music. He should just put ALL his efforts into composing and have another artist do the performing. I'm sure he could make good living just doing that and maybe producing too.
Some people are made to be in the spotlight while others- well.....
This should be outselling any of the non music that proliferates the charts these days. It won't, of course. Although I did my bit and downloaded the whole album off iTunes and man am I glad I did. Sublime.
@DavidLyons7 sexsmith is the new bob dylan......what would have happened to bob dylan if he had started playing music in this crazy era where computers rule the music industry? he may not have been known by almost anyone.....I wish sexsmith the best however hes sir mcartney`s favourite song-writer.....I HOPE HE OFFERS HIM SOME SUPPORT
Beautiful recording, thank you so much for sharing this, it is superb, great sound. Runs close to Ron's performance of this same song at the Songwriters Circle at the Bush Theatre, London UK Im March

Great sound! The studio version took on to much of a pop country sound. Can't get enough of this version.

Love this song. Heard it on the radio this morning and had to find it and listen again. Sounds like Pete Bruntnell.
