Yes, you play beautifully ...but...I think you play too much rubato. Poulenc specifically wrote "sans rubato" on this score and if you study Poulenc's style more closely you'll notice why. It's easy though to give in to rubato playing with this piece, but "en dehors" is not the same!

Nevertheless you seem an outstanding pianist so I hope you'll forgive me my remarks.

I'm sure Poulenc would be irritated with such an interpretation.

You should listen to the records of Poulenc's interviews by Claude Rostand, available on CDs.

That being said, i agree that you're a good pianist. Poulenc just shouldn't be played with too much rubato.

I would not play it as heavy as you did.

nor as loud. This is a more delicate piece.Now that you have he notes under your fingers,try playing it more gently

This piece is wonderful! I've never heard it before, but now I want to hear it over and over! This interpretation is also excellent.
