But, Kratos has more than one brother. His whole family are gods. So why would he have to prove himself in the Spartan trials? Kratos has a lot of brothers.

His brother didn't leave him they, the younger one was taken away. confirmed: kratos's brother deimos will be revealed in ghost of sparta, also if you have god of war 3 you can connect your psp to ur ps3 and play deimos's side of the story in gow 3

In the 1st god of War after you finish the game on any difficulty you unlock videos. One of which talks about Kratos' brother. It states that his brother was too weak as a child to be a spartan soldier so he was sent off to fend for himself in the wilderness, which he did not survive. While in Hades he became vengeful of Kratos, this is the "other one" i believe they were talking about. if there is another game it may be about him i would play it.

This is likely the plot of a new GoW game (not necessarily God of War 4.) Kratos kills himself at the end of GoW 3 and goes to hell. In hell he meets his brother and the game will have you play as his brother traveling through hell to find and battle your brother who abandoned you

@minimimimaxiboy1 You're right, in that game Hercules is Kratos' brother, but not the one mentioned in this video...also, you gotta remember that at the end, right as Gaya was about to crush Kratos and Zues in that pillar gazeebo thing, Zues told Gaya that she should've used the "other" pawn, which I believe is Kratos' brother who is in this video.

I don't think he actually killed his mother. That video where she turns into a beast wasn't canon, as it's Athena who tells him of Zeus being his father. She may have died when Poseidon's Death flooded Greece or from old age some time before, I don't know.

something tells me kratos's brother plays a role int the spartans stand tall mystery if you don't know what it is don't ask. any way at the end of three zeus says to gaia perhaps she should have picked the other pawn, i believe she is talking about kratos's Bro also when you are inside kratos's head one of the voices heard says " a saprtan never let's his back thouch the ground, right brother?" in a mid-teen voice.

In the 1st god of War after you finish the game on any difficulty you unlock videos. One of which talks about Kratos' brother. It states that his brother was too weak as a child to be a spartan soldier so he was sent off to fend for himself in the wilderness, which he did not survive. While in Hades he became vengeful of Kratos, this is the "other one" i believe they were talking about. if there is another game it may be about him i would play it.

The fact that the Greek gods and the Titans were incestuous
brothers and sisters, Kratos probably has no idea how many AND what kind of relatives he's got. And another fact is that he could even be related to the Titans, his father Zeus being the son of Cronos, and Cronos' children are all Kratos' uncles and aunts....And this one mysterious brother who wants revenge on Kratos may probably well be Kratos last fight.

I was so dissappointed they didn't use his brother in GOW3. All this game needed was Kratos' brother and the silly boat captain to die (again) and this would have been the greatest game ever

@TheVGPras yes there is the letter doesnt have a name but from what it says you can tell its from his brother it has written stuff like "hades free me so that i can have my revenge...while my brother has become a god i have been left to rot in here"
the letter says something like this i havent played god of war for a while so i cant really remenber where exacly you can find it

@DrugMan24 @DrugMan24 yes it sounds like it is from the barbarian king. he was ready to kill kratos in the battle between the spartan and the barbarians from the east, but Kratos asked ares' help and he killed him. that happened more than 10 years before God of War 2. in GOW 2 the barbarian finally escapes from hades to change his destiny, but he comes across Kratos at the island of creation and he says that he will have his vengeance by killing kratos

@JoeKamel3 Yeah me 2. The captain was like a signature thing like the chain blades or Kratos's Tattoo but this game really needed the brother it would have made it far more interesting and the story behind the brother will besuch a waste if they dont use it.

Well, the captain had a letter on the Hades cursing Kratos, and his brother could have been there at the end of the game. Remember the after credits scene: He could have been taken to the Hades by his brother.
But hell, i was hoping the silly captain to show up and die again too.

This is likely the plot of a new GoW game (not necessarily God of War 4.) Kratos kills himself at the end of GoW 3 and goes to hell. In hell he meets his brother and the game will have you play as his brother traveling through hell to find and battle your brother who abandoned you
