  • 2 People made the wrong choice..

  • I nominate the midget as the next Baron

  • I took Gunseng side, since he spat into the face of the ''rightful baron'' Copec and began the open rebellion against him. Gunseng is hot-headed , impulsive and emotional, while Copec is sarcastic , cynical, emotionless and calm evil . Gunseng is obviously Chaotic rebel in heart which is why i sided with him.

  • Is it from a videogame?

  • @HOLOKRON It's Emperor Battle for Dune, RTS from Westwood Studios.

  • you would have expected the baron to have had a heart plug put in both kids at birth so should something like this happen he wouldn't go down alone

  • lol let's all stop pretending. we all went with Gunseng because we'd rather see ourselves as a phoney with bleached hair than a big fat slob who might be gay

  • @jros83 I guess so.

  • @jros83 Are you nuts. I chose Copec almost every time!!

  • @jros83 Remember earlier, Gunseng supported the commander, while Copec was very rude. that's why you should always choose Gunseng.

  • @stainlesssteelfox1 very good point

  • lol let's all stop pretending. we all wemnt with Gunseng because we'd rather see ourselves as a phoney with bleached hair than a big fat slob who might be gay

  • Hm. What's your opinion about Copec?

  • @TheLambdaTeam Gunseng is smarter, but they're both stupid. Copec possesses TRUE Harkonnen hair. Choose Gunseng to get gangster shooting and Copec for temper tantrums.

  • "You can't do that!"

Says the ginger trying to kill his fat bastard of a father.... dear god that sounded wrong.

  • "its Iocane powder, i bet my life on it"

  • Gunseng >>>>>> Copec.

Heck, at least Gunseng promises wealth and power if you side with him. That right there screams more incentive than siding with Copec.

  • Are they going to hell?Or do they have a special god?

  • Guys, look carefully on mentat's finger, whom to choose. :-)

  • The whole Harkonnen stoyrline leads you to want to pick Gunseng, Gunseng is obviously more intelligent, more mature, he treats the player with respect and shows competence, plus he's much more attractivve! I've always wondered why your lead to pick Gunseng?

  • 0:58 *sniffs bottle* Iocane. I'd bet my life on it.

  • Copec is indeed an idiot, a complete manchild. Gunseng is much better.

  • Mantat: Gunseng or Copec

Commander: Or i can do the third option and kill them both, then i become Baron, i hope Copec has gotten comftoble in those clothes, because i will be wearing them after he's dead

  • @SuperUnholySaint

Yeah! Long Live his Royal Highness The Padishah Emperor Commander Harkonnen!)

  • @SuperUnholySaint

You would voluntary wear something that that fat bitch Copec had worn? Damn, You have bad taste, man. And obviously no sense of smell XD

  • all i can think whilst watching this is "wow copec is such a tubby homo..."

  • "Join me and together..." that line convinced me to help Gunseng. Copec quite literally said "OBEY ME OR DIE!" + I think he is a soiled fat child.

  • @wolfeyez Join me and together we can rule the Imperium as... Emperor and... Commander.

  • I disagree. I think Copec's murdering of his own father is more Harkonnen than Gunseng could ever be. There is no place for honor in House Harkonnen.

  • Gunseng FTW. But Copec had an easier battle.

  • I sided with Gunseng. It`s not as hard as it seems! When mission begins deploy your MCV near bridge on the right side of map and build a five-layer wall to block enemy units pass. When first reinforcements arrive do the same thing on the left side. If there are too many units the start to get confused. The best way to avoid the "Death Hand" is to build some defensive turrets AI nukes them instead of you const. yard. Ixian infiltrators will ruin the palace in 4-5 self-destructs.

  • @AndrewtheDuke

Thing is, I prefer that the enemy nukes my construction yard. rather than something else. The const yard can survive a nuke, and I can just repair it. By the time the next nuke comes in, it will be fully fixed, and I don't have to worry about rebuilding anything.

  • Sounds like Iocaine powder, to those who know what that is, be wary of my treachery for i am harkonnen. >=D

  • I always sided with Gunseng, we little brothers have to stick together after all.

  • Copec has gatling guns. He could have ended everything there.

  • i so wish they put a None button and the reports they both die and u before baron :D

  • Copec is an idiot and a douchebag, who the FUCK would side with him??? I'm surprised they didn't kill him just as soon as the baron died, if I heard the news the baron died and Copec was now "baron" I'd go find him and shoot him immediately! I dont want that little shit as my baron!!!

  • The Baron tried to grab Copec's chest? I would have instead tried a groin pull if I where him

  • The only ting missing with this cutscene, is the Baron saying "Poison? You... bitch..."

  • aaah!!! I was fooled, I though this was a new movie remake.... considering this is for a game, i am impressed.

  • I feel this doesn't beat the original movie.... I like 80's sciencefiction movies.... visually it,s more gritty and dirty.... look how plastically clean their suits are ?

  • Copec reminds me of Will Ferell! LOL always hard for me to take him seriously cause of that

  • Only an idiot would choose Copec. Firt of all Gunseng didnt kill hes Father secondly hes ways of negotiation and propaganda are much better. And third hes better looking superior. So Gunseng for the win.

  • I wonder how Copec was smart enough to nuke your turrets. I didn't even know that he knew how to give orders.

  • Copec threatens me with painful death, Gunseng promises wealth.... no wonder I always chose Gunseng...

  • All Hail Baron Gunseng!

  • Gunseng is awesome!hes smart,Copac is just an idiot...

  • @TrueLegend47 And that is why Copac should rule. For the worse of the universe. Now THAT is true evil. Harkonnens would be proud of me.

  • copec is easy gunseng is HARD

i could never win with gunseng

  • It definitely took me a few times to get it. You have to fight your way to the armor drop off points and mass them into one big group so they can't be killed off piecemeal, spread out all over the map.

  • this animation look as if it was colored up video recording

  • I don't like Copec but you got to admit that his guards miniguns look more intimidating than Gunseng's guard's rifles

  • Question are the guards next to Copec Sardukar? i noticed the laser miniguns or are they just Harkonnen Troopers

  • their Harkonnen troopers, they were also seen in the first cut scene, as the Sardukar had yet to make their decision on who to follow.

  • I would choose the side Copec for his foolishness, someone upon whom myself can stab from back or play puppet . I can only be a servant to Gunseng, but I can dethrown Copec anytime I want

  • spoken like a true harkonnen

  • They do both need the Commander, Gunseng because he's outnumbered and outgunned, and Copec because he's an (as Gunseng has pointed out) imbecile.

  • the harkonnens red hair is great, so evil

  • @aldoyoung What do you have against redheads? Do you hate ''gingers'' you fascist, right-wing, conservative scum? Actual WWII fascists and Nazis hated redheads and neo-fascists hate redheads even today.

  • Copec acts like a child anyways

Gunseng is more smarter and better so I would rather side with him

  • I quote Gunseng when I say, "Copec is a fool." He was nothing more than a powerhungry brute/buffoon. Gunseng was far more intelligent and, ultimately, far more dangerous.

  • Guys, what do you think about Copec?

  • I chose Gunseng, the mission is kinda challenging, getting battered by a series of tanks and the death hand missles.. my only allies are the Tleilaxu, not very useful on this mission, I however managed to defend my base by building like 15 defense platforms divided on north and south of my base til i massed up a kamikaze army for an attack at the palace from the south

  • Notice that Gunseng doesn't threatening your life when communicating with you (commander). Seems he is nicer a bit, but of course, it can be a clever disguise as well.

  • Hm. What do you think, which one would be victorious, if there wouldn't be any commander to guide them to victory? Would Gunseng be victorious in a civil war....or perhaps Copec?

  • FUCK Copac!

Gunseng is da best. I choose gunseng

  • just fight your way south to the bridge then charge at the palace with all the forces u got especially missile tanks

  • Heh you won't believe it but I finished it using one mobile defense platform (the really slow flying vehicle with a Gatling cannon) I leveled it up to 3 before that and I destroyed the palace with almost no health.

  • I personally sided with Gunseng to start with went back and chose Copec. Copecs side is easier home field advantage but gunsengs can have greater mobility.

  • I found gunseng easier. Just sneak ix infiltrators next to the palace and BOOM. You win.

  • yeah, when you get allied with the IX before of the Civil War..without this, is a way too hard to win with Gunseng.

  • yeah I went IX all the way through and ignored the Bene Tlielax

  • isnt he the guy from sixth gear?

  • Oh, brother. Who should I side with, Gunseng or Copec?

  • If I were Gunseng or Copec, after defeating the other, I'd have that damned Mentat killed for trying to be impartial!

  • that's what makes them so special and lovable :)

  • A Civil War with in a Civil War; it is already a Civil War with the houses fighting each other. They are suppose to be under one Empire with the Emperor...

  • I always sided with Gunseng; he's more intelligent :-P

  • I wish I had a third option:

    Kill them both.

Oh well, I sided with Gunseng, and beat Copec easy with my Sardaukar legions.

    That battle was fun.

  • You can always set Harkonnen vs Harkonnen vs Harkonnen on the Geidi Prime Skirmish map and pretend...not that I've done that...

  • Oooh. Thansk for the hint.

  • No, that wouldn't work. As I/we are just a commander, we would only have a few followers compared to the royal sons of the Baron. (who the Harkonnen follow anyways)

  • Well, the allies you gather follow you... whomever you side with. So, it seems like they follow you more than they do the Baron.

I mean, if I had the Sardaukar and Ixians... a small militia of elite-trained fanatical Imperial Sardaukar would make mincemeat of the Baron's legions.

Not to mention the ease of it magnified by both sons concentrating on killing each other as well.

  • and here we see the two main methods of persuasion: coercion, and enticement.

  • Damn you Copec! Why'd you kill the fat Baron, I liked his smile :(

  • It is by will alone i set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of sapho the thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, stains become a warning. It is by will alone i set my mind in motion.

  • Guys, some boys prefer Copec, because on book Dune of Frank Hebert, i've understood than a true Harkonnen Baron is who kill the last Baron, in this case Copec kill his father Baron Rakan, so, they follow a true Harkonnen. But I keep the idea of ally with Gunseng, because I like too much revenges; delicious irony.

Mentat: Destroy the Palace, and Copec's rule over House Harkonnen will end.

  • Gonseng is more suitable for a Harkonnen Baron. He is the Feyd Rautha Type played bu Sting in Dune (1984)

  • I like how the Baron went for one last groin grope before dying

  • gunseng at power!

  • "Then it'll be CIVIL WAR!" (hits chest)

We all follow you Gunseng! (hits chest)

  • Well, consider this. You know where you stand with the brute. Far easier to manipulate. More direct. Sting would have plans within plans.

  • Still though, I believe that Gunseng would not get rid of you. He realizes how important you are to him and I think he is not the type to betray. He would probably let you know he was going to destroy you. Now the brute would belittle you until he did it, which would force me to assassinate his dumb ass!

  • Between the two of them, Gunseng seems preferable.

Why? Because Copac is a fat bully whose personality is as repulsive as his appearance PLUS he didn't offer me rewards for siding with him.

In contrast, Gunseng offered me rewards for siding with him PLUS he seems to be more clever then Copac.

  • HAHA ur so rite

  • Yup, I always sided with Gunseng. Gunseng is intelligent, clever, and offers you rewards; Copec is arrogant, stupid, and doesnt offer you shit.

  • yeah, Gunseng is my type of warrior: ruthless, but honorable. And Copec is just a whiney bitch.

  • A slow and painful death or wealth and power beyond my wildest imagining? Mmmmm...such a hard choice. Gotta like it when the stakes are high. :)

  • wealth and power beyond my wildest imaginings...that does sound exciting

  • The acting in Westwood's games gets progressively campier, with the exception of CNC3. Remember the dialogue between Umagon and McNeil in Tiberian Sun?

McNeil: As long as he lives long enough to tell me where Vega is...

    Umagon: Do you love nothing?

    McNeil: I love to win...

  • @thefellowhuh than watch gilmore gilrs

  • Oh yeah, those stealth bombs. That's actually a much better idea. I really wish I still had this game.

Oh yeah and Gunseng is the younger one with the blond hair, Copec is the fat stupid one

  • At lest I know it's the yuonger one.

  • You're thinking of Gunseng, not Copec, which is why your previous statement made no sense whatsoever! I do agree with you though!

  • or is it the other brother I am thinking of?

  • I like Copec most, he is the one of the few Harkonnen with brain he is able to use.

  • When you're Gunseng the best way to win is to, hold off Copec's forces until you can build like close to a dozen jet craft then you just fly them in and destroy the palace.

Or atleast I think that works pretty well, theres no point in wasting resources on Copec's defenses when all you need is to destroy the palace.

  • I destroyed the Copecs palace with those Ix'ian octopus-bomb things, tried other way's but couldn't hold of for long, anyway that worked out fine for me

  • 6 gunships is enough

  • Tell that to the elite devastators, right outside of the palace.

  • btw where did u get all that plot info about Copec's army being the vanguard and gunseng's as the arrakis assault forces (did i simply miss it ingame)?

  • Just made it up. I assumed that since Copec never set foot on Arrakis his forces would've consisted of the non-assault military on Geidi Prime. Gunseng would've had to have brought his own Arrakis assault force with him, as Copec (it appears) took position as Baron before Gunseng arrived and thus would've had access to the military already on-planet. Yeah, sorry about that. I get carried away with writing, and it's probably not good cause the information isn't canon.

  • You're actually quite right though. Copec is relying on the Harkonnen Home Forces in Giedi Prime, you can see this when you see the Vanguard composing of a group of elite Devastators at your disposal right outside of the Harkonnen Palace, while Gunseng is arriving with what little he can muster from the Harkonnen army fighting in Arrakis, once again you can see this through his constant reinforcements that arrive via Guild Transport Highliners. Well done and well said!

    Gunseng rules!

  • ah i love this movie. esp. the part where gunseng goes then itll be CIVIL war haha

  • The vultures gather ... and the vultures fight for the food :D

  • i couldnt beat the part after this! haha the creator of this game works at a lexus store now my sisters good friends wit him

  • When you play Gunseng, the strategy is to survive long enough for your economy to kick in. I had to play the mission 10+ times to get it. You have to crank out Assault Tanks like hell and hope for the best until you have enough. Then, you build a crapload more. If you can survive that long, then congratulations. When you're Copec, you just have to cover all your bases until you can push yourself out of the center, but it's way too easier. Tell that guy at the lexus store, thank you for me.

  • haha i jus thought u attacked lik crazy! thanks bro i will!

  • I win this level in 5 min.I bulid 10 this flying things fast as possible(i dont remember name of this unit) and attack the palace :] Easy :P

Few years ago when i play this lvl i play it 10+ times, and discovered this tactics :D

  • They are called "Gunship", and i recommend that before you fight on the civil war, make an alliance with House IX. Then you, on Giedi Prime, biuld quickly 6 infiltrators and detonate one by one close to the palace, and it's done. The Palace is "Destroyed". Very easy.

  • Yes, but playing on level "high" there is no time.I dont tryied your tactics, but i gues, there is just no time, because enemy is attacing very offen and you have to bulid defence, and funds are very small.Gunships can help to defend the base, infiltrators can not.

  • I'm only telling how to win in all levels, but obvious I detonate infiltrators nearby enemy units approaching my base, if I'm in trouble.

  • I beat this mission with about 50 of Elite Sardaukars... They are the best choice against the Devastators.

  • i beat this with using the devastators when playing as Copec... the starting devs you are given.

and for gunseng, 7 gunships were able to fly in and blow the palace no problem even on hard difficulty

  • omg i cant do it my gunships are shot down all the time

  • 10 or more and charge in from the front, don't bother with flanking him you'll still take losses before you're even at the base

  • good scene!

  • I like Gunseng more. He is a more noble evil.

  • Yowza, I didnt actually think I would find this on youtube. Kudos.

  • I did. Everything is nowadays found in here. If exists, Youtube offers it to you.
