This piece is one of my favorite pieces by Barrios. When I heard this piece played by David Russell, my eyes keep wetting. You also play very nicely. I wonder that how you play 20th fret C without the bar? Best regards, from lute323.

Hi my friend, thanks for your nice words.

The 20th fret is simply played with the nail of the left hand as fret (I know - unfortunately there is a tree in the picture here).

This piece was one my greatest challenges. It's 120% concentration and hurting fingers. The next (Chaconne) is similar...the reason for my silence at the moment...

When I first heard this piece played by John Williams it brought tears to my eyes because of its beauty. I'm just now "discovering" Augustin Barrios' wonderful compositions for the guitar. Diese Musik hat für mich so ein südländisches Flair - ich hab deinem Konzert aufmerksam gelauscht. Wirklich virtuos, wie du neben dem andauernden Tremolo die Melodielinien so klar zum Ausdruck bringst. Auch die Münchener Waldszenen machen sich ausgesprochen gut dazu :-))

vielen Dank. Ja, es ist tatsächlicher einfacher, es schnell zu spielen, weil es auch so lange ist und Tremolo schnell etwas leichter ist. Die Fehler kommen auch daher, dass ich Schmerzen im Handgelenk bekomme bei der Länge.

thanks very much! I have taken here the Magix video deluxe 16 (for Windows). I have bought it some weeks ago. It took a long time to learn it. However recording functions are not working correctly and I used Ulead video studio for recording the webcam parts (the close up parts are a Casio digicam).
