I'm not a big fan of this concert's 2nd movement maybe because I've never heard it being played like this. Such emotion it absloutely took me off me feet. Bravo!!!

This is pure ecstasy, in music - nothing else even comes close (not even that Galway guy....) - this is THEE best version of the 2nd mvt I've ever heard - PERIOD.

Good that some don't know what they're writing about. Grafenauer was solo-flutist of a world top 10 orchestra at age 19 (Bavarian Radio Symphony). With 29 she was professor in Salzburg, played solo with the Berlin Philahrmonic, and was the flutist of choice for Gidon Kremer or Martha Argerich. Every bit as good as Galway, although perhaps not as much a showperson. Then she fell ill with chronic leucemia. Here she is playing with her hometown orchstra as if her - and their - life depended on it.
