  • Thanks for the video... i've decided to take the capsaicin tablets instead of applying it directly to my hair :)

  • @qwertyqwerty111112 strain it first but try simmering in a double boiler next time. HTH!

  • I simmered the cayenne pepper along with the olive oil on low and it seems to be burt. Is it still ok to use??? Thanks!

  • Is it ok to use hot sauce instead

  • I take cayenne internally, and I have just started using it as a hot oil treatment. I mix it with EVOO, too. What a great idea to add essential oils! Thanks!

  • I've been using cayenne pepper, water and EVOO mixed together for about a couple of weeks now and my hair is growing fast already., I dont wash my mixture out of my hair. I keep my hair moist under my wigs. I'm already at APL, so the rate my hair is growing now that i'm using this mixture, I will be at BSL very soon! Thanks for the hair tips! Happy Growing!

  • I know u stated you do this treatment as part of your co-wash and deep conditioning treatments, but how many times a week do you do the cayenne scalp treatment and do u apply it before or after the co-washes and deep conditionings?

  • I know you stated this treatment is part of your co-wash and deep conditioning treatments, but how many times a week do u do the cayenne scalp treatment?

  • is okay to not wash this out?

  • @Littleslady

i've never NOT washed it out...it smells kinda like food, so i wouldn't recommend it :)

  • Wait wut did yuu put in da bottle wit da cayenne peppers, did yuu say natural oil? Wut iz natural oil? Plz reply i wanna use dis treatment

  • @MyLiLi73 i used extra virgin olive oil. a natural oil is one that is extracted from a seed or plant with and has no "extra" stuff in it. i'm referring to specifically carrier oils in this video.

some natural oils are olive, coconut, avocado, safflower, almond, apricot kernal, jojoba, grapeseed...

  • @LongHairDontCareLLC o ok thank you lol glad i askked

  • i just tried making some...I put 9.5oz of oil w'3 tbsp of cayenne pepper simmered it on low for an hr (very low)...and it started to burn...so it has black stuff in the bottom of the pot. I will try to make another batch and let it sit for about 2wks instead of doing the heating..I hate that it has to be thrown away now though!

  • @esparra1014

i'm so sorry!!! maybe try it in a double boiler? that may help.

my stove is "special" LOL it cooks like no one else's i know!

  • I wonder if this will irritate my skin. I have eczema and I'm afraid to risk it but I do need a massage scalp oil.

  • @GooGoo32

definitely do a patch test first. my youngest has eczema so i know how sensitive and how easily irritated your skin might get.

  • do you rinse out the cayenne pepper in the morning??..im thinking about addin itto my hair oil.....o yea a fanstastic oil for hair growth is emu oil it TOO STIMULATES HAIR GROWTH! (google it it has tons of other benifits too!)

  • @jaszylaz527

yep. i wash it out in the morning with my weekly cleansing...yeah, i've heard GREAT things about emu oil. one of these years i might get around to trying it.

  • Do you do this treatment before washing your hair or after?

  • @kareg100 this is done before i wash my hair.

  • I hear that you can use cinnamon for scalp stimulation too. Do you know if there is any truth to that?

  • @FoxyMochaCleopatra

i've never tried cinnamon personally, but from what i've read, people have used a mix of honey, cinnamon and olive oil to make a paste to help grow hair.

  • Thats a first, does it feel tingly like peppermint?
