@MyEntertainmentVids i understand your desire for purity, but let's not bash the people who are 85% on our side when there are people out there who may be 10% or less on our side. put another way, don't you think hannity would be more open to austrian arguments than ed schultz? i do. with a dem congress, reagan had to compromise to improve the economy and reduce taxes and regs. unfortunately that compromise was a steady increase in the spending of the federal government as revenues increased.

@MyEntertainmentVids it was a joke because peter had a life-sized poster of reagan in his dorm room at UC Berkeley and it got him into political arguments with the girls he would bring up to his room. also, you are seriously misguided if you equate the ben bernank to reagan. reagan was not perfect, but he understood the power of markets and the pitfalls of government. our problems were and are greater than any one man's ability to change them and reagan is a perfect example of this.

The mass exodus of jobs overseas is not due to reagan or capitalism, it is due to government regulations and taxation which make us uncompetitive. If you agree that Peter Schiff is right, then buy his book 'How and Ecomony Grows and Why It Crashes.' It will remedy your lack of understanding of these issues.

@BarryOcuda i have, my more illuastrated point is communisim works too on paper but totally fails to take in human nature which is why it failed miserably the same is true with capatalisim, however the inverse is true of acreation of wealth and abuse of power.
I got no prob in saying there are massively incompetant people in gov, but you cant deny that so many corporate banksters lobbyiests special interests are running that show and have for a long time.

I understand that, and I agree with you I guess my round about about way of getting to a point is what my old lady said about money talking and bullshit walking.
It really does dismay me when I see great start up businesses with inventive ideas being gobbled up stolen and pushed out of the way by bullshit regulations that favor corporate welfare and crush little guys.
I guess well have to see what the future brings eh we live in interesting times.
