I am Already trying to make a twisted bar but with no success This video comes close but I just don't get the right method. do you know how to do so? My English is not that extremely good so I understand this link forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodes­k-Inventor/Twisted-square-ladd­er-rung/td-p/2488239 but its exactly the part that I want to make. Someone can say me how to do this in plane English or even better wit a small tutorial.

Why didn't you use a Center line for the Diameter and a Driven Dimension for the Center Ling Height so you could compress the spring in an assembly?

i need to make a cylinder with holes that are 1/4 inch deep but sweep up a helix in a steped function, perpendicular to center line how can i do this ?

is not to make the spring be "stretched"? for example: the two round ends and the inside diameter not rather than on round rectangular.

what if i wanted to make a roller coaster (for my high school class)? is there a way to change the size of each individual coil?
