This really makes me think that Nintendo COULD FEASIBLY make a DS E-Reader that could work by itself, and be small/light enough for the DS to hold it. Have the Card swipe on the of the back on the DS where the Shoulder buttons are.... yea... Then have the DS game slot supported on the back. It'd be perfect!
I don't want to wait for that.... not like it's happen. I want to hack SMA4!!! Then anyone can do what they want. It's great w/ a gba rom, because you can put it on a flash card. Please visit the topic in the vid description to hear more about it, and check out KiroBomber's youtube which shows a few hacked e-Levels.
I gotta' say it's too bad Nintendo didn't release more of these e-reader levels. One of these days, they're going to learn that requiring people to buy triple digits' worth of accessories for two or three games at the most just isn't gonna' work. :b
Excellent playing, even if it's SMB1's 1-1. I'll probably go through your e-reader uploads later and pick out my favorites. It's been a while since I've watched them.
That's why I'm trying to pick up where nintendo left off. Hacking SMA4 is the holy grail, even better than SMAS, because all of the difficult to copy/ asm stuff is ALREADY on the SMA4 rom. (IE, the SMB music is on the rom, all the e-Card adds is the level layout) SMA4 has all of the SMB3 poweups & enemies, as well as the SMB1 Flag, ALL enemies & musics, the SMW Cape, and SMB2 veggie toss system (not the bastardized stuff in crappy SMW hacks) SMA4 also has better saving/ replayability.
