If God is truly an omnipotent all powerful force or spirit, there is no way that anyone could prove that such a being did not exist. You can say that YOU don't believe that there is a God, but if asked to prove that you would be at a loss to do so definitively. Those who do believe in the existence of God do so on faith, and therefore do not have to prove anything.

I've never met an atheist yet who could prove that God does not exist. If you make definitive statements I have to assume you have proof or you are basing your assumptions on some type of faith.

However, god in any form is unlikely, god in a specific form infinitesimally likely (would it be infinitesimally unlikely? either way there is no point in believing in a specific god, and little point believing in any god with it being at best a weak hypothesis)

The likelihood of any actually existing are infinitesimal. The main point I was (trying) to make was that the possibilty a Christian god is just as infinitesimal as Zeus, I just (failed) to word is properly.

The universe does have an end, where the space-time continuum stops and an unknown void begins. Nobody knows what is beyond this 'border', as our limited method of perception cannot register it. Currently the universe still continues to expand, although the rate at which it does so is slowly decelerating. There will eventually be a point where the universe begins to shrink, but the human race will be extinct long before that happens.
It dies with you! The Universe is only a word, only a concept dreamed up by man. In a sense we are the reflection of the universe. Because you exist the universe exists. What is quantum mechanics? What is reality when there is no mind plugged into it? Its something we leave up to the imagination. It is only a universe because we have an animal body that comes packaged with the specific sense abilities to perceive it as such.

If God is truly an omnipotent all powerful force or spirit, there is no way that anyone could prove that such a being did not exist. You can say that YOU don't believe that there is a God, but if asked to prove that you would be at a loss to do so definitively. Those who do believe in the existence of God do so on faith, and therefore do not have to prove anything.

However, god in any form is unlikely, god in a specific form infinitesimally likely (would it be infinitesimally unlikely? either way there is no point in believing in a specific god, and little point believing in any god with it being at best a weak hypothesis)

The universe does have an end, where the space-time continuum stops and an unknown void begins. Nobody knows what is beyond this 'border', as our limited method of perception cannot register it. Currently the universe still continues to expand, although the rate at which it does so is slowly decelerating. There will eventually be a point where the universe begins to shrink, but the human race will be extinct long before that happens.

It dies with you! The Universe is only a word, only a concept dreamed up by man. In a sense we are the reflection of the universe. Because you exist the universe exists. What is quantum mechanics? What is reality when there is no mind plugged into it? Its something we leave up to the imagination. It is only a universe because we have an animal body that comes packaged with the specific sense abilities to perceive it as such.
