Terrence Choi is the song writer. He was involved in a serious car accident quite a few years ago and is said to be suffering from some kind of brain damage and is now in wheelchair.

This is one my favourite Paula Tsui song. No one else seems to be able to convey the kind of sentiment she is able to project.

The person who wrote the song is Terrance Choi Kwok-Kuen who is an exceptionally talented singer/songwriter in the 80s. Unfortunately, Mr. Choi had a terrible car accident several years ago which left him with severe brain damage to this day. Felt very sad for such a talent gone to waste.

yeah it's kinda true for a lot of singers though. like what happens is as they go thru their singing career, they get better and kinda develop their style. like if you hear 張學友's old song 只想一生跟你走 back in the days when he first sang it, and compare it to how he sings it nowadays, u can tell that there's a HUGE difference. he was good back then, but now he's just even better.
