Yeah... you may be able to play them... but to play them with quality is another story. Add an accel onto that and you have yourself a TOUGH break. Take it from someone who loves to grid... well... anything. This break may not be the most exciting drum break of all time, but there's a heck of a lot of high demand happening here.

To me, it's more about a lack of identity, whereas in the 80s and 90s each corps had a very distinctive identity musically, technically and visually. Most corps seem to all have a similar style/technique now.
And no, I personally would hate it if DCI went the "Drumline" route.....but that's just me. ;-)
