I played RE2 first. then wanted to check out the first one. The first one was way harder, and those hunter were real dangerous with their one hit kills even if you had full health. I like the gamecube version better for the updated graphics.

I still prefer the music from the original Resident Evil to the Resident Evil: Director's Cut. That is the only aspect of the Director's Cut which I do not like. It was a bit disappointing when I first purchased the digital download from the PlayStation Store on PSN. The original RE and RE 2 are still my favorites in the series.

You're right the new Resident Evils seem to be a shadow of the former series, just not scary or suspenseful anymore...

I'm 18 years old and as a kid watching my dad play these and then finally playing myself brings back good memories haha. Amazing games Resi 1, 2 and 3 were the best hands down. Code Veronica-X was good too. I like the direction they're taking it in with Resident Evil : ORC but if they incoperated the over the shoulder kind of movement system and then made the games like they used to with the puzzles and ammo conservation and searching all the rooms before continuing instead of how it is now.

Quick Tip From A RE Veteran,

If you go to ARRANGE mode, press and hold on the D-PAD (crosspad) for 5-10 seconds and wait until the words ARRANGE turn green.

After that, select it. What this code will do is give you extra ammo so instead of the 15 round in the current magazine you pick up in ARRANGE MODE will give you 30 rounds instead.

At least to even the hardness level for the newbs.

this was my favorite series when I was a kid and still are man. They were my roots in gamming I remember being truley scared playing residnet evil 3 nemesis when i was like 10 oh man those where the days huh wings. before the internet games like these were truley entertaining and made you want to get far even when you get confused and lost but if you stay determined youd hope to beat the game. thanks for the walkthrough I wish you would continue with commentary.

I loved these games up until number 4, you had to solve puzzles and conserve your ammo. Now they are just a run of the mill shoot em up. I don't think the younger gamers would have the patience to play a game like this now.

Wow, I like you so much more now. Resident Evil is my all time favorite series. Resident Evil 2 is easily my most memorable and favorite all time game. The Remake for this on the gamecube is quite a bit better but it's awesome to see the terrible acting and voice over again.

Usually it is the younger then 21 crowd that loves 4. Neither I or my Wife was a big fan of it. I thought they lost site of the series at that point. And 5 just disappointed me. But to me, the series died after 3. Even at Nemesis the series got a little strung out.

They could of changed the characters names, as well as the games name for part 4 and 5 and they could of sold as a stand alone series. But like I said, it's just my opinion.
