there IS no cure for stretch marks. nothing can help them go away but this could maybe help on little scaring. like acne scars and so forth. im trying it out to see if it workds for that and un-even skin tone.

I got burnt on my upper thigh with boiling water, and i was left with a massive scar. and my grandma recommended bio-oil, so i tried it out. and it really worked. my scar hasn't completely vanished but it appear to be lighter in colour + faded. and also the scar appears to be smaller in size.

yo i did research on this.. and its more than obvious that bio oil is just a bunch of toxics in a bottle... don't get me wrong i know it works but in the long run all those toxics go in ur blood stream and into ur organs... not good. I bought it and used to for a week then returned when i found out how awful it really is. Try aveda brightening serum instead... it's more expensive but that stuff IS natural - unlike bio oil.
I found Dr. Blaine's complete scar care treatment works really well on keloids, hypertrophic, acne and surgical scars. The treatment has a silicon gel-pad that you wear for 12 hours and then a liquid gel that you apply for the rest of the day. You can buy it at Longs Drug/CVS and Walmart for like $20. It's good stuff.

i use bio-oil with palmers coco butter and dove white bar and alternate with aveeno fragrance free body wash and my stretch marks have smothed out and soften but they are still there it just helps to soften so its not so noticable to the touch,but if you got keloids then you need a dermatologist,there is some retynial palmatae in bio-oil which is a gentler for of retin -a which helps with softening but not much
No I used it for months, still have the same scars and hyper pigmentation. Dont waste your time with it, and it takes like 3 months to get a result they say. Try Colostrum cream, Ive been using that and it is gradually helping. My skin is still shite though
I used Bio Oil twice a day for 3 months on stretch marks but it made no difference. Then following a surgical operation which left me with two scars I used Bio Oil twice a day on one of the scars for 3 months to see if it healed this scar better than the other one. I can now report that Bio Oil made absolutely no difference to this scar when compared with the non-treated scar. I can therefore conclude that BIo Oil doesn't work and is a complete waste of money.

@idkwia if you read the piece of paper that was included with the product it said that it doesn't clear up scars that happened previously but it helps with them not showing up if you go through something like a pregnancy which was why it didn't work on the first scar but worked on the second scar.
@idkwia bio oil made a huge improvement on my acne scars. certain types of skin do not absorb oils or hydrates like others. if your skin remained oily for 30 minutes after application then you probably have that unfortunate skin.

Hey guys. If you have stretch marks it's a lot more effective if you use lime with bio oil. Apply lime to the affected area and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes so it completely dries. Then massage the area with bio oil for at least 5 minutes. I found that the lime actually absorbs the oil much better than massaging the oil on the skin alone.This is my experiment and my stretch marks have gone down a lot after only repeating 5 times.I'm continuing because I hate these stretch marks!

Depending on how old the scars are, and the extent of them, will effect how long you'd have to apply it for. I had scars and it takes a while to work, but it surely and definately works very very well. You must have a lot of patience and must be diligent with application of Bio-Oil. I recommend you use it. And if it doesn't work you can always use it as a mousturizer, for dry elbows, knees, etc. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
humm, i have bought it a long time ago, to me it didnt do much, i have scars that turned white, bio oil for me made my skin a bit softer and i believe it made the scars a tone lighter, i think it really depends on how your skin reacts to it, so i think you should try it out, maybe it will work better for you, but i didnt see any results for the first 4 weeks i think.
@TheSickez yes it will help for scrapes but not deep scars. i have been using it sine October and so far it lightens the color of the scar and shrink it a little. but it works for stretch marks and laugh lines. but for scars that that dramatic like they advertise but u should try Kelo-Cote it way more effective and it the same price as Bio oil. u can get it at target.

Suffered from this and is now life changing. It says it works on uneven skin tone, I used for a week on face like the diagrams, then my eyes were puffy from the oily substance running into my eyelid area in my sleep. I stopped using the product but it was too late. A large lump (stye) formed under my eye,size of half a golf ball and had surgery to remove it after antibiotics didnt work. I have using bio-oil for my stretch marks right now. I'm not very impressed.
It might work for younger stretch marks but I can personally say that it's not doing anything for my older ones. I'm starting to question this and think what people are seeing is the natural healing process of the body.
I did the voice (for the announcer) on the American version of the commercial for Bio-oil (they have spots running around the world) so am happy to see that it's working for some folks ... in "real life." :-)
you are absolutely right! this video is just on my experience... people should take a chill pill about it not working on them. i have a friend that is dark skinned and she loves the product and says it works for her... so for those that are dark skinned and says it doesn't... iono then... but like puzzake said.. different products work on different ppl... :)

yo i did research on this.. and its more than obvious that bio oil is just a bunch of toxics in a bottle... don't get me wrong i know it works but in the long run all those toxics go in ur blood stream and into ur organs... not good. I bought it and used to for a week then returned when i found out how awful it really is. Try aveda brightening serum instead... it's more expensive but that stuff IS natural - unlike bio oil.

I found Dr. Blaine's complete scar care treatment works really well on keloids, hypertrophic, acne and surgical scars. im trying the bio oil started today.. but my friend swears by cocobutter i see the results on her but she uses it religiously .. she also puts a ton of it she says like she slaters it on she said shes been using it for a year and i see great imrovment.. idk i was wondering if some of this cure is also a pseudo effect .. like if you belive it works then your mind will make it work

i use bio-oil with palmers coco butter and dove white bar and alternate with aveeno fragrance free body wash and my stretch marks have smothed out and soften but they are still there it just helps to soften so its not so noticable to the touch,but if you got keloids then you need a dermatologist,there is some retynial palmatae in bio-oil which is a gentler for of retin -a which helps with softening but not much

No I used it for months, still have the same scars and hyper pigmentation. Dont waste your time with it, and it takes like 3 months to get a result they say. Try Colostrum cream, Ive been using that and it is gradually helping. My skin is still shite though

I used Bio Oil twice a day for 3 months on stretch marks but it made no difference. Then following a surgical operation which left me with two scars I used Bio Oil twice a day on one of the scars for 3 months to see if it healed this scar better than the other one. I can now report that Bio Oil made absolutely no difference to this scar when compared with the non-treated scar. I can therefore conclude that BIo Oil doesn't work and is a complete waste of money.

@idkwia if you read the piece of paper that was included with the product it said that it doesn't clear up scars that happened previously but it helps with them not showing up if you go through something like a pregnancy which was why it didn't work on the first scar but worked on the second scar.

@idkwia bio oil made a huge improvement on my acne scars. certain types of skin do not absorb oils or hydrates like others. if your skin remained oily for 30 minutes after application then you probably have that unfortunate skin.

Hey guys. If you have stretch marks it's a lot more effective if you use lime with bio oil. Apply lime to the affected area and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes so it completely dries. Then massage the area with bio oil for at least 5 minutes. I found that the lime actually absorbs the oil much better than massaging the oil on the skin alone.This is my experiment and my stretch marks have gone down a lot after only repeating 5 times.I'm continuing because I hate these stretch marks!

Depending on how old the scars are, and the extent of them, will effect how long you'd have to apply it for. I had scars and it takes a while to work, but it surely and definately works very very well. You must have a lot of patience and must be diligent with application of Bio-Oil. I recommend you use it. And if it doesn't work you can always use it as a mousturizer, for dry elbows, knees, etc. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.

humm, i have bought it a long time ago, to me it didnt do much, i have scars that turned white, bio oil for me made my skin a bit softer and i believe it made the scars a tone lighter, i think it really depends on how your skin reacts to it, so i think you should try it out, maybe it will work better for you, but i didnt see any results for the first 4 weeks i think.

@TheSickez yes it will help for scrapes but not deep scars. i have been using it sine October and so far it lightens the color of the scar and shrink it a little. but it works for stretch marks and laugh lines. but for scars that that dramatic like they advertise but u should try Kelo-Cote it way more effective and it the same price as Bio oil. u can get it at target.

i haven't been using bio oil that long but i seen a lil differents on my strech marks but it depends on the scar..i have them on my biceps, shoulder and ab area the ones on my arms look lighter i thinks it cuz the skins alot tighter and the strech marks that are on my belly are deeper. but i use a pumas rock over my skin, then add bio oil , belly butter from plamers then vit e oil and a firming lotion its alot but im wiling to do anything

Suffered from this and is now life changing. It says it works on uneven skin tone, I used for a week on face like the diagrams, then my eyes were puffy from the oily substance running into my eyelid area in my sleep. I stopped using the product but it was too late. A large lump (stye) formed under my eye,size of half a golf ball and had surgery to remove it after antibiotics didnt work. I am now disfigured and would advise you all not to use on face or near eyes. Thanks for posting this vid.

It might work for younger stretch marks but I can personally say that it's not doing anything for my older ones. I'm starting to question this and think what people are seeing is the natural healing process of the body.
