nice, I have the same laptop with a t9900, gets about 8-12 frame boost, good for "on the edge games" where the frame rate hangs around at 27-30, makes it more playable.

I actually replaced my t9900 with x9100 E0 stepping engineering sample. It runs just as cool as a t9900, idles at 22- 25C, 43-46C full load. much cheaper and scores slightly higher on super pi.

it does look that way. There isn't any motion blur, you can easily tell the shaders aren't "very high" immediately when you look at the horizion line, low shaders distinguish poorly between the ocean and the sky.

I was planning on buying an old 360 for 100 bucks without any cables, modify the firmware, and burn games onto dual layer DVDs.

Other than that suggestion, the 360 is simply an underpriced (in consideration to processing power) computer with overpriced software. I prefer PC gaming anyday. I'm greatly enjoying my q6600 + 4850X2

It's not "Very High"....it's simply "High." You can easily tell the shader quality isn't set to 3 (Very High), and it's missing a lot of effects.

I think he mean "Core 2 duo Very high specs" as in the laptop has high specs, not that the game was set to "Very High"

these are mostly if not entirely LOW settings. now heres what you should do: - download either CCC 2.21 (tropical and warm) or RealLifesis (realistic but kinda cold) and copy the level files (save the originals first) to "crysis\game\levels". - Settings - !! forget/deactivate AA !! this / should ATLEAST be on: "physics" / MEDIUM "shaders" / HIGH "post processing" / HIGH "shadows" / MEDIUM fiddle around with them until it runs smoothly and looks best.

It pretty much is. The 1GB of memory wil be used, but compared too true 1 GB video cards, it's terribly crippled. The real issue is that because bus speeds have always been limited, no game has ever been made to utilize more than 512mb of video memory. It's kind of like SLI in a game that doesn't really support SLI...the boost is minimal, but still there.

Computer games are built to run 512 max anything over 512 is for Graphic design so there is no use overclocking. Besides that the 9800m gts is a good card I wouldnt overclock it.

The 1GB of video helps in games like GTA IV, trust me.

I have the original 7811 FX with the 512mb GPU. I OC'd my card to 700/890/1785 and it's stable. Just do it in slow incriments, and also use RMClock to undervolt your CPU to help keep the notebook cooling. Overheating isn't a problem with these things, but undervolting helps keep the temps down anyways.

Try downloading the graphics Bench mark tool that does an ultimate test on your graphics card and tests its true capabilities. Also before making your next vid on this game, try downloading "FRAPS", it shows the FPS on any video game on the bottom, top, left, or right of your screen, in order to find out what your FPS are. This is a good way to fine tune the game because traditionally you want at least 35-40 fps for smooth gameplay. So set your settings until you achieve this benchmark.Good Luck
