Anything right to keep folk from reading whole chapters at a time. The other thing we do is read a Proverb section in the morning (about 5-8 vv) then a NT chapter (very little Paul) at Supper/Dinner/Lunch and a Psalm in Bed. Like last week was Proverb 25:6-15 every morning, and Psalm 4 every night and then a chapter of James M-F & Jude on Saturday. so a whole book in one week. Be Ye Well.
we use the 20/20 rule for clarity: 20 verses before and 20 verses after. Kinda funny: I saw "proof-texting" and I thot you meant "amateur translation" at first--I really dug your explanation of your terminology though! I heartily =) agree. P.S. Thanks! I'm at 4:18.
