First of all Cordova was a shit hole in the first place.

There were trailers in town to begin with and alot of the houses that were in the downtown area were not any nicer looking than a FEMA trailer.

Either hold a recall or come elections vote everyone currently in office out.

This town has never had anything to offer to anyone anyways, as being a local I would know. I would say that before the tornado almost half of the town were trailers anyways. These people don't have $50k+ to build houses in this town, especially when 15 miles down the road there's a city with suburbs and tons of nice neighborhoods with homes on the market ready to go. The people of Cordova need these trailers, that or they'll stay in their unlivable homes or relocate.

I've been following this story for a few weeks and the secret deal is the only scenario that makes any sense. The latest news as of this afternoon is that the town folk want a recall vote and not just for Jack S#!t@ but several on the council. I haven't been to Cordova but if the other debris fields are any indication there isn't much left. They were actually hit twice by tornadoes that day.

@privacyvideo4u There are other methods of survival. What he should do is make it temporary (mandatory by law of course to actually make it happen). Like I suggested earlier to some one today, make it temporary by law for a year or two while having companies and Habitat for Humanity build houses. There's only a couple thousand people there so it shouldn't take long. But, what does the rest of the world care?
