Steve Munsey is a Great man of God! It says in the bible that the world will hate us as Christians. The Pharisees hated Jesus and said everything he did is evil and they called him the prince of demons! Last time i checked Family Christian Center hosted a youth conference where thousands of teens gathered to praise God and hundreds were saved, and everyone's lives where touched.

I have recently started applying his teaching about giving and i can honestly say that i am able to do more with 90% of my income cuz i gave to Lord back 10%(my tithe) versus 100%. I worked for a media ministry for years and met some of the most interesting characters. Most were really sincere and very good at heart...but I personally worked with this dude and he was so arrogant and haughty. About 20 years ago I read George Muller's Autobiography which says that he never asked anyone personally to support his Ministry. Him and his wife prayed in over $2,000,000 million dollars in the 1800's.He provided for several hundred Orphanages and children they had rescued off of the streets.
So, today when I hear any of these Ministers Asking for Money or a specific amount of money I am always reminded of George Muller and I pray that these men and women would Trust Abba Father to Provide.

I'm all for giving, but i suggest this:Call these "Christians" and ask if you'll recieve these blessings from god if you give your money to the poor people down the street whose heater went out and them and their children are freezing. See if their answere convinces you of their morality

Steve Munsey is right in what he preaches, if you would just try giving your money u will see God will give it back press down, shaken together, and running over. I have recently started applying his teaching about giving and i can honestly say that i am able to do more with 90% of my income cuz i gave to Lord back 10%(my tithe) versus 100%. If you are a believer and not giving back to Lord, trust me u are missing out on some serious blessings due to your lack of faith and unwillingnes to give.

God does love a cheerful giver, but tell me one thing about Steve Munsey's message...Where is Christ Jesus? He never mentions the life saving blood of Jesus Christ. He's more concerned about the peoples pocket book instead of their soul. Now you tell me what is more important to Christ? Your $ or Your soul? Peace to you

I doubt god see's you giving for the sake of recieving as being a righteous action. I would give my money to some poor guy in need for free and with a garante of not getting it back before i would hand it over to some rich ass preacher that dares to say an act of greed is one of god. He's just another Robert tilton, kerney thomas, or whatever other you can think of. They all use god to get rich and its not right.

I worked for a media ministry for years and met some of the most interesting characters. Most were really sincere and very good at heart...but I personally worked with this dude and he was so arrogant and haughty. He called himself the Money Man..."if Lester Sumerall needs money...I'm the man he calls". Talk about clouds without water.

About 20 years ago I read George Muller's Autobiography which says that he never asked anyone personally to support his Ministry. Him and his wife prayed in over $2,000,000 million dollars in the 1800's.He provided for several hundred Orphanages and children they had rescued off of the streets.
So, today when I hear any of these Ministers Asking for Money or a specific amount of money I am always reminded of George Muller and I pray that these men and women would Trust Abba Father to Provide.

I can't point out anywhere in the Bible where He says to ASK for money, but I do know that if I am giving "IN THE NAME OF JESUS" no matter who I give it to, God honors my giving. Alot of good comes from TBN...so even if they are fake (which I'm not saying they are..) but even if they are, God honors my honest giving to Him, and He will be the judge of their hearts.I hear you, but I'm not able to see their hearts, only their fruits.:)

Well, I seek in a very big way to please the Lord...I am a Christian and it is not just a "part" of my life...it IS my life...daily!! I do not seek to argue as that is not what the Spirit urges, but I can only speak what is my understanding and my belief. I won't have to answer for Steve Munsey's sins...only my own. I'm quite sure that Jesus doesn't like what these televangelists are doing. Jesus doesn't accept people acting like charlitans by conning others. also, if any one knows? i was wondering about the black baby his daughter had, this was many years ago. they went through great extremes to hide this back then.
