@beepopalula You know i must say Werewolf had a really good run even for 1 season 29 episodes was not bad for it's prime time in 1987-1988. Probably the most famous seaon of that time. Cool 80's. Awesome Werewolf The TV Series as well as other shows on Fox 11. I will never forget it.
The Simpsons weren't a show in their own right at the time, they were little vignettes on the Tracy Ullman show (which is shown in the promo) before and after the commercial breaks
I miss the pre-Idol TV FOX. Aside from Simpsons, House, Terminator, and PrisonBreak, FOX has become propaganda for American Idol. It relies on it too much. I respect the talents of Carrie, Jordin, and Kelly, but I think Idol is overexposed. They're making the same mistake as ABC when it overly promoted Millionaire in 2000 (ABC is my fave).
I wish the FOX folks would just make a promo just like this. I dare them to not promote a single second of American Idol on it, not even a nanosecond
Ahhh, the early days of FOX - Tracey Ullman, Married... With Children, Simpsons (back when they were funny), 21 Jump Street, In Living Color - what good times!
This was in 1987. All there was in the image campaign was the giant Fox Logo, during the 87-88 Season, they built more stuff around the Fox Logo, like the neon lights, and billboard for "Married... With Children," as well as the trailer/dressing room which Peg came out of in the Full version of the 88 Image Campaign.
No, it was 1987 most likely, because that show originally premiered as Second Chance (no relation to later shows of a similiar name). Perry was a co-star to Kiel Martin, who played the adult version of Perry's character who time traveled back from the dead to correct his past. This fantasy element didn't work out, so at mid-season Martin was dropped, the title became Boys Will Be Boys and shifted the focus to the misadventures of Perry and his friends.
I love John J. York!

Takes me back to the good ol' days, back when Fox wasn't really a threat to the "Big Three", meaning the fact that it only aired one night a week.

I believe that is Tracey Ullman at the end. I can tell by her British accent, which some would say is really sexy.
