Lee won because he was the underdog. He was very good but I think a lot of people felt that Chrystal didn't need the win as much as he did. I think the same thing happened with Chris Allen.

very heart warming after hearing her interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning...evidently, her boyfriend had left her the morning of this performance...says that was why she was able to connect to this song so well...and truly amazing as she is--says she has no hard feelings towards him; actually completely understands why he had to! she really is a great gal!
She is an amazing, original talent. Her range, emotion and ability to grab your heart is truly unique. I get goosebumps listening to her. Lee is flat, boring and does not have any presense. She has a very bright future and I think the record sales will reflect this.

Beautiful rendition of a great r&b classic. I'm amazed that Crystal doesn't get credit for her song arrangements. She did a wonderful job with this song. This is one of the few American Idol songs that I actually downloaded off of itunes.

I could see them both doing well in their own genres but they will definitly not be competition for eachother again. They're styles are completely and totally different.

Stop making excuses and being pathetic and show a little class. If I was Crystal I'd be very disappointed to see the type of people I had attracted to myself. She ripped him apart on all 3 rounds in the finale. No buts, no ifs no excuse on song choice or nerves.
When it comes to real test, the one who has REAL TALENT will rise to occassion - ie. Crystal. While the one with weak/fake talent will be exposed. (ie. the other guy who lost but got his title courtesy of teens and girlies)

very heart warming after hearing her interview with Ryan Seacrest this morning...evidently, her boyfriend had left her the morning of this performance...says that was why she was able to connect to this song so well...and truly amazing as she is--says she has no hard feelings towards him; actually completely understands why he had to! she really is a great gal!

She is an amazing, original talent. Her range, emotion and ability to grab your heart is truly unique. I get goosebumps listening to her. Lee is flat, boring and does not have any presense. She has a very bright future and I think the record sales will reflect this.

She's really good. I hate American Idol. I wouldn't even know who the contestants were or who won if it weren't for me logging in to my Yahoo account to check my email this morning... This girl is super talented, though. Not winning American Idol doesn't mean SHIT! We've seen in the past that the runners up and 2nd placers have done just as well or better than the winners.
And this girl doesn't need to have the "American Idol" tag following her around for her whole career. Super talent.

Beautiful rendition of a great r&b classic. I'm amazed that Crystal doesn't get credit for her song arrangements. She did a wonderful job with this song. This is one of the few American Idol songs that I actually downloaded off of itunes.
