@marinawha The Bible have told us that the original diet for humans were fruits, nuts and seeds, later after the fall of man, vegetables were introduced. This was the staple diet for the children of God until the great universal flood when animal food were introduced in order to shorten the lifespan of humankind. During the exodus, Israel were on a vegan diet, then we have Daniel that were vegan. So God have told us about this for a very long time. Time to honor our Maker and Savior. =)
Perhaps one or two times per month I will have a cup of water. I do derive water from raw fruit, raw milk from grass-fed pastured cow and goat (incl. products derived from milk), soy-free raw eggs & raw meat from completely organic, pastured & oftentimes wild ruminants / herbivores.
I also feel that juicing & eating certain greens (especially wild herbs) maintains full functioning viability.
I do not refrigerate any of the above mentioned foods.
I eat vegan now because I know Jesus Christ led me down this path. I believe it is part of my personal walk with Him. I do not believe, however that animals have a soul. We, as people, are set apart from animals. We are made in God's image. I definitely care about animals, but they are NOT the same as people. Also we didn't evolve to be meat eaters, it was the introduction of sin into the world that brought it on. I'm open to comments and discussion upon all of this.
A soul or spirit is what sets us apart from animals. It is basically the way that we communicate with God. Our spirit is who we really are versus our physical bodies. Yes, I think animals can have emotions. They can get attached to their owners and such. Do they really understand love though, no I don't think so, it's more about loyalty. I'm sure many would disagree with me, but that's okay ;)
i'm vegetarian (not vegan) mainly for health reasons ,I used to eat meat and i know how my body changed ,no sick day from that for 4years etc. ,and that's why vegetarians trying to change people ,they wanna share this what offends sometimes because people can't accept this kind of decision ,it's too deeply in our culture ,in my every day life i try to keep in secret
@JehxOne We spread the word about veganism not to annoy people, but to try to awaken them to all the cruelty and violence. Please think about how animals react when they're about to be killed. They know what's gonna happen and are scared of what they face but they have no choice in the matter. They want what we want, to live and have freedom. Please look at their faces when they're on the slaughter line like the one from youtube user LiveVegan
wow, love them! i've seen a lot of quotes from but it's nice to see the face...and off topic, but this gives me hope for marriage! haha. now to calculate my water requirements...
I waste too much water showering and flushing toilets. Part of me does not want to see the volume of water going down drains from showers and sinks. I bet its alot.
i can't tell you how happy this video made me, kevin. thank you SO much. not only is The World Peace Diet my ultimately favorite book in the world, but my family and i are also preparing to travel on the road (converted bus instead of RV) within the next year or so. and we are also doing the whole raw/vegan lifestyle. this was the ultimate video. THANKS!
My life style requires me to drink about a gallon of water a day. It helps to rid the body of toxins, including eliminating excess salt, helps the body to not retain water as well.
Americans eat a meat-based diet filled with hormones, chemicals, and junk. I think at the end of the day, the message in this video about questioning our culture and the consumerism that drives everything we do needs to be looked at as being more important to deal with!
Whether or not it is human nature to be peaceful or not is not my concern. I appreciate what they are talking about. They talk about the culture of society and how consumerism has led us to lose our sense of purpose. This is what I have discovered for myself as well, and I have been struggling with this very issue since I started my weight loss journey & plant-based living a couple of years ago! Humans may have evolved to eat meat. If that is the case, why do we have so many health problems now?
compasion and love isn't our true nature, when ever people are allowed to show there true nature its generally voilence and war, just open a history book. Vegan is a forced nature, humans evolved to be Omnivores not purely herbivores or less. Also raw dairy is a good option.
I actually have the audiobook of the World Peace Diet! I love it! I was already a vegan before listening to it, but it really made me far more knowlegdable about how much I contributing to before and after going vegan. Wow, they are just amazing people with such high, compassionate souls. They're so at peace and respectful... I admire them! I'm so jealous you got to meet them.
Bless you Tuttles. Something usually lacking in raw vegan conversations ...the ETHICAL reasons for not eating animal products. Its not just about health .
I feel the same about the exploitation of animals and have become a vegetarian for those reasons.
I raise my own chickens for eggs, they are very well taken care of and are members of our family (free range). I also want to raise a few goats in the same free range compassionate manner.
So my question is; "if we feed our livestock an organic natural diet and treat them compassionately would you say that the products retrieved could be part of a healthy diet?

I haven't read his book yet (intend to), but what a beautiful explanation for becoming vegan, and I resonate with what they say.

@JehxOne Sounds like your forcing your views on us mate!
I say 'say what you mean, mean what you say, speak from the heart and those that mind, do not matter and those that matter do not mind.
Would you eat your pet if it died? If not, your a hypocrite flesh eater. ;)

I'm going to enslave your children. I respect your choice to not enslave your children as long as I don't have to hear your opinion on the matter.
