Most people now associate Modern Wu Shu as real Kung Fu....it is not. Modern Wu Shu is a sport now....lots of flashy and gymnastic moves. Most of their stances are wide and arms are extended fully (Looks real good....but not really applicable for self defense).
As you can see in this form....everything is practical....no jumping twists and/or cartwheels etc. I just don't know why they call this "Small Tiger..." since there's alot of Crane Wing moves.
This brings back memories. I attended the school in DC's Chinatown under Sifu Mims in the 1980s. Fatngo - I wouldn't worry about people copying. Unless you learn it from a master, you could never hope to grasp all the suble complexities. Two people off-camera are heard correcting the student, but they're just scratching the surface. Thanks for posting this!

Wu Shu means War Art or Martial Art.

Cool, Very Well. Please, in the comment or Title of this video you have to specify that is WUSHU, not Kung Fu. Thanks.

A very nice video. Watching the form broken down like that made it possible for me to better appreciate the technique.
