the rumor bass is super super super amazing and I have owned pbasses fro the 70's the tone is amazing,light, and the pickup is the most 70's sounding of all

this is years better than Ibanez---its danelectro, discontinued

also Sven Pipien from Black Crowes plays it on smaller gigs

Im not going to make the trade i found a really bad short in the chorus effect.

Pluss its just cheaply made compared to the ibanez.

I might be trading an Ibanez SR200 for a Danelectro Rumor Bass.

Seeing as you own one, would you recommend this trade or should i hold onto my ibanez?

@DakotaNowhere I wouldn't do it. I don't like the Danelectro Rumor as much now, but if you really like it's tone (test it first to hear if you like it) then why not?

About your Rumor Bass you play which you bought back in 2007, how do you like the bass so far? I want to purchase a long scale Danelectro bass (either a Rumor, Hodad, "D.C." or Dano 63 model). I like the Fender-like sound your bass produces which is different from the other three long scale bass guitars made by Danelectro. Presently I own a short scale Longhorn Bass but also want a full scale too.

HELL Yeah! One of Rockette's best, or at least most prominent. Now i can learn off you because tab just DOESN"T work in my brain. Nice bass as well, danelctro just has that twangy sound that doesn't come from anywhere else.
