Blizzard doesn't like to release games until THEY feel is it finished. In other words, 2-4 more years.

If you wan't a good example of how long th wait might be, look at SC2. I think it was announced in 2007 and they just started Beta testing a few weeks ago.

The barbarian is bouncing around in slow-mo like Foghorn Leghorn, fighting an enemy called "Thousand Pounder" who is a big fat blob of about 3 polygons, shooting rainbows out of his weapons. Tell me how often that happened in Diablo 1, for example. The graphics on this game are about 10-11 years behind the norm - look at videos of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (2001) for a slightly less cartoony, graphically similar game.
