the instruments played are legit but the people executing these dances are impostors. I grew up with these dances in central Mexico and have traveled a great deal. these people are neither Concheros or Aztec Dancers. On a very personal note I would put my money on andean musicians borrowing a few aztec dances. Next time institutions overseas seek an aztec exhibition please seek people from Mexico City. the audience deserve authenticity.
